Melaka, the Former Capital of Malaysia

Today, we had the chance to visit Malaysia for the first time. Instead of staying in Kuala Lumpur, we decided to explore Melaka, the old capital of Malaysia. This is Dutch Square, the administrative center during the time before the capital was moved to Kuala Lumpur. I was quite impressed. The tourist attractions here are beautiful. There's also a walking street called Jonker Walk, offering a variety of delicious street food. A popular dish among tourists is Melaka's chicken rice balls, which are round rice balls served with chicken, typically 3-4 pieces. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to try it as we were already full from snacking 😂. Overall, I really liked it here. The atmosphere is great, with riverside shops and an evening market that operates from around 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM. If you ever get the chance to visit Malaysia, consider spending a night in Melaka. It’s about a 2-hour drive from Kuala Lumpur. 🥰
