This time, I chose to stay in Malacca for two nights to fully experience this small city. For accommodation, I chose The Majestic Malacca, where I had wanted to stay for many years. The Majestic Malacca was established in 1920 and is located on the banks of the Malacca River. It is within walking distance or a short Grab ride from the Stadthuys and Jonker Street. Taxis are really cheap in Malacca 🚗. This is a retro-style hotel with Nanyang characteristics. The front desk staff are all dressed in Nyonya clothes. It's a great place to take photos. When checking in, guests are provided with tea and snacks. The hotel's breakfast is à la carte, which tastes good, and the pre-dinner bread is delicious. The staff here are very enthusiastic, making you feel at home. The rooms may seem old, but they are very clean and tidy. It's hard to believe that it's a century-old hotel. Sometimes I really travel for these beautifully designed and historic old hotels. Although all hotels will age, the warmth and heritage are unforgettable.
