Affordable customizable set meals in Kwun Tong

Recently some restaurants in the Kwun Tong industrial buildings aren’t open on the weekends, so we decided to pay @bubble.tree a second visit. It was quite amazing that they only increased prices by single digits in four years while still maintaining such high quality! [Customised Set Meal] Soups, salads, desserts and drinks can be mixed and matched with any main dish (such as pastas, risottos, salads and sandwiches), so it took us a while to make up our minds before ordering at the cashier. We decided to get the pumpkin soup (+$8), which was a bit mild in taste but still had a nice creamy texture, as well as some hot drinks (+10) that both came with a pretty seahorse latte art. The green tea latte was quite smooth and milky while we totally didn’t expect the hazelnut flavour to be so prominent in the hot chocolate. (Tip: you can add different flavours like caramel and oreo crumble for free!) [Crazy Cheese Hida Beef] Despite the raw onion overload being a little too peppery for my picky taste buds, the burger was still delightful with a juicy Hida Wagyu beef patty and melted cheese. The seasoned french fries were also super delicious and crispy! [Caesar Salad with Smoked Salmon] Loved the fact that they used black croutons to add a charcoal spin on the classic caesar salad, which had a salmon rose, tomatoes, lettuce and raw onions (again!).
