A quick escape to ‘Bali’

Not far from the hustle and bustle of Kwun Tong, @beleaf_cafe offers a quick escape to ‘Bali’ with a tropical interior design (complete with the iconic bird nest), keto-friendly dishes and delectable desserts 🌱 When we came for a weekday lunch (80 minutes dining time), the spacious restaurant was already quite packed, but luckily food was still served quite efficiently after we placed our order online 👏🏻 [𝐏𝐚𝐧-𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐔𝐒 𝐏𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐏𝐥𝐮𝐦 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐩] Highly recommended! The juicy and tender pork chop came with multiple sides (including a crispy hash brown, buttery potato mash and crunchy cabbage) and a light truffle mushroom sauce, leaving us with a stuffed and satisfied stomach 🤰 [𝐏𝐚𝐧-𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐰𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐭] We decided to try this healthy keto dish which was surprisingly delicious! The cauliflower rice was much more flavoursome than we expected while the soft salmon fillet was boneless and quite moist 🐟 [𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞 𝐁𝐫𝐮𝐥𝐞𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐟𝐟𝐥𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐚𝐤𝐞] Served fresh from the kitchen, the two huge pancakes were completely coated with mild custard sauce and topped with a layer of hardened caramelised sugar 🥞 We especially loved the gingerbread crumbles that added a mellow taste of spices - no wonder it’s one of their signature desserts!
