Wonderful Restaurant (Kwun Tong)

Stumbled upon @wonderful.restaurant_ after yoga and did not expect to find such quality Western dishes in an industrial building in Kwun Tong 🤩 It was nice that the lunch sets were still available on the weekend. Each set included an appetizer, a main dish and a drink (standard coffee or tea) ☕️ We were quite impressed by the appetizers - the flavorful chicken base soup was full of soft onions 🧅 that went so well with the crispy garlic bread while the innovative carrot 🥕jelly salad topped with crunchy fried leaves was just like eating a healthy dessert 😍 [𝐒𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐏𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐋𝐨𝐢𝐧] This totally exceeded our expectations! The thick chunk of boneless pork was tender and moist, and the caramelized apple dices added a fruity sweetness to the taste 🍎 The potato wedges and zucchini got a little soggy from the sauce though, so remember to set them aside first 😅 [𝐀𝐯𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐨 𝐂𝐫𝐚𝐛 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐰𝐢𝐜𝐡] The sandwich was bursting with crab meat, avocado chunks, lettuce strips and mayo, but the curly sweet potato fries stole the spotlight of this dish - we just could not stop eating them 🤣 [𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐥 𝐩𝐮𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠] We added $28 to end our meal on a sweet note.
