Exhibition of "Colored Porcelain" from the Ming and Qing Dynasties!

The Hong Kong University Art Gallery and Museum's special exhibition "Colored Porcelain" showcases the many different types of ceramics produced in China over the centuries. To Ming During the Qing and Qing dynasties, colorful porcelain with blue underglaze to outline the lines and red, green and yellow to embellish the patterns became the most widely produced colored porcelain. These polychromes were popular with Europeans, either over glaze or occasionally on ceramics already equipped with underglaze decoration.
