Neolithic Pottery Exhibition @ Hong Kong University Art Museum

Today is a day off so I went to the Hong Kong University Art Museum and visited the very attractive ceramic exhibition for free. In addition to ceramic exhibits from the Han, Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties, there are also painted pottery from as far back as 10,000 BC to the Neolithic Age 8,000 years later, which are of great historical value. Among them, the cocoon-shaped jars, the traditional components of Chinese architecture, the four-handled jars and the painted pottery from the Stone Age are of great appreciation value. These collections were not only daily necessities at the time, but also supplies for funeral ceremonies!
