Hong Kong Fei Ngo Shan Hiking: Challenge Yourself and Enjoy Stunning Views

Fei Ngo Shan, also known as Kowloon Peak, is located at the junction of Wong Tai Sin District, Kwun Tong District, Sai Kung District, and Sha Tin District in Hong Kong. Standing at an elevation of 603 meters, it is the highest peak in New Kowloon and part of Ma On Shan Country Park. Its unique rocky terrain attracts numerous hiking and photography enthusiasts. Transportation Guide Take the MTR to Choi Hung Station, exit at C3, and board minibus line 1A at the Choi Hung Estate Bus Terminal. Get off at Fei Ngo Shan Road. Alternatively, take a taxi from Choi Hung Station to Fei Ngo Shan Road or near Fei Ngo Shan Villa, costing around HKD 30-40. Hiking Routes • Route 1: Fei Ngo Shan Road - Instagram Cliff - Hilltop Helipad - Elephant Hill - Tung Shan - Jat's Incline - Ngau Chi Wan Village - Choi Hung MTR Station. Enjoy natural scenery along the way, take photos at Instagram Cliff, and rest, have lunch, and admire the views at the hilltop helipad. • Route 2: Shek Lei Pui Reservoir - Beacon Hill - Lion Rock - Lion Pavilion - Sha Tin Pass Road - Jat's Incline Viewing Platform - Fei Ngo Shan Viewing Platform - Tung Shan - Elephant Hill - Fei Ngo Shan - Suicide Cliff - Fei Ngo Shan Road. This route spans about 18 kilometers and takes approximately 7 hours. Important Notes • Check the weather forecast in advance.
