The Nine-Dragon Wall, a relic from the Ming Dynasty, is the largest of the three Nine-Dragon Walls in China. It has stood quietly in a corner of Datong Ancient City for over 600 years. As time goes by, the glazed tiles of the Nine-Dragon Wall are still brilliant and exquisite. The nine dragons are in different postures, carrying the wind and rain, as if they are about to break through the wall. The Nine-Dragon Wall is a single-sided, five-color glazed screen wall. It is 45.5 meters long, 8 meters high, and 2 meters thick. The lower layer is a waist-shaped base, carved with two layers of glazed auspicious beasts, including unicorns, lions, deer, horses, and small dragons. They are all very vivid. The middle is the wall body, with 426 pieces of colored glazed bricks stacked into nine dragons of different colors. The upper arch is decorated with glazed tile roofs. The Nine-Dragon Wall is very exquisite, but the scenic spot itself is very small, with only this Nine-Dragon Wall, which can be seen in half an hour at most. Admission to the scenic spot is free, but a reservation is required.
