Datong Ancient City Nine-Dragon Wall Visit & Stamp Collection Guide

☀There are three Nine-Dragon Walls in China. Two are in Beijing, one located in the Forbidden City and the other in Beihai Park. The third one is in Datong. ☀Among them, the Nine-Dragon Wall in Datong is the earliest, largest, and most magnificent one in China. ☀The Nine-Dragon Wall is a screen wall in front of the Prince Dai's Mansion. The current Prince Dai's Mansion is a reconstruction, and it looks grand from the outside. Later, to widen the road, the Nine-Dragon Wall was moved back a bit; it used to be closer. ➡️Visitors need to register online or swipe their ID cards on-site to enter. ➡️Opening hours: 5/1-10/15 8:00—18:00 (ticket sales stop at 17:30) 10/16-4/30 8:30—17:30 (ticket sales stop at 17:00) 🎬You can capture the whole view with a wide-angle lens, but there are too many people. It is sold at the cultural and creative shop at the exit.
