Shanhuasi was first built in the Kaiyuan period of the Tang Dynasty, originally named "Kaiyuan Temple", and later changed, and it was renamed "Dapuen Temple" in the Later Jin Dynasty of the Five Dynasties. In the second year of the end of the Liao Dynasty, most of the buildings in the temple were destroyed by fire. Through the mountain gate, come to the Three Saints Hall. This building, a relic of the early Jin Dynasty, is solemn and solemn, with a lot of Tang Dynasty relics. The Hua Yan San Sheng enshrined in the hall, its oblique arch design, that is, the Ruyi arch, is very unique. This kind of arch was popular in the Liao and Jin Dynasties, but it was rarely used later. The Daxiong Hall was built on a high platform, with seven rooms and five entrances and three doors.
