Amazing day at the old fortress

#ancientbuildings During my summer vacation, I had the chance to explore the Old Fortress of Corfu, and it was a fantastic experience! 🏰🌿 Located on the eastern side of Corfu Town, the fortress is easily accessible and offers stunning views of the Ionian Sea. The entrance fee was about €8, which felt like a bargain given the rich history and panoramic vistas. Walking through the fortress, I was struck by its impressive architecture and the sense of history that permeates every corner. The well-preserved walls and the various exhibits, including historical cannons and old maps, provided a deep dive into Corfu’s past.
