Travel by High-Speed Rail to Guizhou｜Basha Miao Village in Qiandongnan

Guizhou is a place with a very rich ethnic minority culture, especially in Qiandongnan, where each village has its own unique characteristics. This time, we visited a very special Miao village, which is the last gun-bearing tribe in China—Basha Miao Village. We took a high-speed train from Guangzhou directly to Congjiang Station, which took less than four hours and cost 216 yuan. Since it's the peak summer season, remember to buy tickets in advance. Basha Miao Village gives a very mysterious feeling. It is built on the top of a mountain and consists of five villages. It retains many very special customs, such as shaving heads with sickles, welcoming guests with gunfire, and batik clothing. Moreover, there is a very special surname here—Gun. It is said that they are descendants of Chiyou, who secluded themselves here to avoid the outside world, thus preserving many customs. As soon as you enter the village gate, there is a welcoming performance with lusheng playing and dancing. The village is built on a mountain, with staggered layers of two-story stilt houses, primitive and simple. 1. Transportation: High-speed rail directly to Congjiang, then take a car to the village 2.
