Buy a ticket on the bus and tell the driver to drop you off at Dangniu Intersection for 30 yuan/person, about a 3-hour journey. After getting off, you can see the minivan to Jiache Village, 100 yuan/car, seating 7 people, averaging 10-20 yuan/person. It's about a 9km walk, taking 3-5 hours. ✅Rongjiang——Jiabang Terraced Fields: Take the bus from Rongjiang Bus Station to Zaibian at 13:00. Buy a ticket on the bus, and there's no guarantee that there will be a bus every day. If there is heavy rain, landslides are possible, and the bus may be canceled, so it's best to inquire in advance. After boarding, tell the driver to drop you off at Dangniu Intersection for 27 yuan/person, about a 3-hour journey. After getting off, you can see the minivan to Jiache Village, 100 yuan/car, seating 7 people, averaging 10-20 yuan/person. It's about a 9km walk, taking 3-5 hours. ✅To return from Jiache Village to Dangniu Intersection, you can ask the guesthouse where you stayed to call a car to the intersection. After reaching Dangniu Intersection, take a passing minibus to Congjiang or Rongjiang direction. There are many buses, including the Zaibian to Kaili bus passing Dangniu Intersection between 9:00-10:00. ✅Self-driving It's over 70 kilometers from Rongjiang, about 2 hours off the highway, then another 3 hours on mountain roads. The traffic is inconvenient, ⚠️and it's very difficult to drive!⚠️ 🌹Jiabang Terraced Fields are among the finest terraced fields in China, collectively referring to a whole area of terraced fields in Moon Mountain. They are specifically divided into several terraced fields: Dongpeng, Jiaye, Liangga, Jiache, Luosi, Baibie, and Baidang, distributed along an approximately 8-kilometer road in the mountains. The rice fields of Jiabang are terraced along the mountains, changing with the terrain and adapting to local conditions. The altitude, slope, and size of the hillside determine the size and shape of the terraced fields, resembling belts, screws, moons, or eyeshadow palettes. 🐻Activities 🚗Free parking at the tourist center parking lot. Tickets at the tourist center are free for those over 60 years old. During the off-season from November to March, you can drive up yourself, but now you can only take a sightseeing bus for 100 yuan per person, including the bus fare. There are 6 viewing platforms at the site. The scenic shuttle bus operates like a city bus, allowing you to get on and off at any of the viewing platforms as you wish. 🏠🍴Food & Accommodation The majority of accommodations are located near the 5th terraced field, at the topmost Jiache Village. 1. You can prepare some snacks and fruits to take up with you. It's not convenient to buy things up there. 2. It's colder on the mountain, so bring a coat. 3. There's a coffee shop with freshly ground coffee at the 5th viewing platform. Jiabang Terraced Fields have absorbed the essence of terraced fields from all over the world. They are more beautiful than the Yuanyang Terraced Fields in Yunnan and more spectacular than the Longsheng Terraced Fields in Guangxi, with immense charm. Especially the mountain villages and small hamlets nestled among the terraced fields, which reflect the environment and blend with nature, embody the harmonious beauty between humans and nature, giving a sense of 'a heavenly mirror on earth, a paradise out of this world.'
