Epic 4-Day Beijing Adventure: Culture, Shopping & Ancient Wonders! 🇨🇳

From Tbilisi to Beijing, a short-but-gold 4-day itinerary 🇬🇪🇨🇳 Day 1: Culture Vibes 🐉 Start off strong by exploring the classic Chinese hutongs. Begin at charming Nanluogu Hutong (Nanluogu Alley, Dongcheng District, Beijing; open 24/7), famous for its dreamy houses, street eats, and quirky souvenirs. Next up, hit Wangfujing Avenue, Beijing’s iconic shopping street with tons of malls, local snacks, and legendary boba-milk-tea at Hey Tea. As the sun goes down, head to Qianmen Street (Qianmen Dajie, Dongcheng District; 10am–10pm) and get lost in the magical glow of lanterns and nighttime vibes. You’ll see another side of it in the daytime tomorrow! 🌚 Day 2: Shop ‘Til You Drop 🛍️ Begin with breakfast at Qianmen, then explore nearby hutongs for wallet-friendly souvenirs (trust—they’re cheaper here than Nanluogu!). Tea fan? Head straight to Blanbunny, the cutest tea shop with the most adorable tea sets! For lunch, try the iconic noodles at Fang Zhuan Chang N69 —seriously yum! Jump on the metro and visit Maliandao Tea Street & Beijing International Tea Center (No. 55 Maliandao Road, Xicheng District; open 8am–6pm) for a next-level tea shopping spree. Finished sipping? Hit Sanlitun Taikoo Li, Beijing’s high-key fashion hotspot for clothes, makeup, and all the trendy stuff. Day 3: History Hits Different ⛩️ Grab your passport and get to the Forbidden City (No. 4 Jingshan Front Street, Dongcheng District; 8:30am–5pm) early for those epic ancient palace tours. You’ll spend hours wandering epic ruins and lush imperial gardens. Next, climb Jingshan Park for a sweeping view of the royal grounds. For lunch, go legendary with authentic Peking duck at Siji Minfu. Wrap up the day in Chaoyang district, where sky-high towers await! Don’t miss the insane cityscape from the rooftop terrace at China World Mall. Major photo opp! 📸 Day 4: The Final Epic! ✨ Got energy left? Head out to the Great Wall of China, just a 30-minute train ride from Beijing. Bucket list moment—don’t miss it! 🏨 Where to Stay Wanna be close to everything? Book accommodation near Qianmen or Wangfujing for foot-friendly sightseeing. If you’re down for speedy metro rides, staying near the 2nd Ring Road is way cheaper and still gives solid access to all the cool spots. Check rates and options on trip.com! 📌 Insider Tips There are a very few places where you can pay with your plastic card (visa, mastercard, amex). You’ll need either Alipay or WeChat to pay for literally everything. And btw, it’s very convenient!!! English speaker are rare, but no worries, Baidu Translate is completely enough to make your trip comfortable! Google maps work but won’t do any good. AMap - perfect replacement when in China. ‼️ Install all your apps in advance and validate them with your passport, while at your country. Otherwise you’ll risk being blocked and unable to pay for anything. Recommend apps: AMap, Baidu translate, AliPay, WeChat. #discoverchina #beijing

Mutianyu Great Wall

🌄 Epic Views & Outdoor Adventure at Mutianyu Great Wall! 🚠🏞️ For a breathtaking hike with sweeping mountain scenery, Mutianyu is a true winner! Start your adventure early to beat the crowds and soak up the lush forest surrounds and ancient Chinese architecture. Opt for the cable car up for panoramic photo ops—capture the serpentine wall snaking over green ridges, especially from tower 14 or 20 (the latter is less crowded and super "insta-worthy" at sunrise). Take your time strolling along the wall; the hike between towers 6–20 is scenic yet manageable. After exploring, get your adrenaline fix by riding down via the fun toboggan kart—a unique way to zip through nature after your climb! Bring snacks and water, as options onsite are limited; wear comfy shoes, since the wall's stone steps vary in height. Sun protection is a must if the weather’s nice—this section gets full sun, so a hat and sunscreen go a long way. 📍Address: Mutianyu Village, Bohai Town, Huairou District, Beijing ⏰ Opening Hours: Vary seasonally—most days 07:30–18:00; weekends and holidays offer extended hours Personal tip: Take the cable car up for epic views, hike for incredible scenery, and finish with the toboggan ride down! It’s a super memorable combo and saves your legs for more exploring. #Beijing #GreatWall #Mutianyu #OutdoorAdventure #HikingChina
