A mysterious museum in Beijing that is hard to book and free to visit.

Xihuang Temple was first built in the 9th year of the Shunzhi period of the Qing Dynasty (1652) and was only opened to the public in 2018. Currently, it is only open for reservations on Saturdays and Sundays, with 600 visitors per day, making it a mysterious and hard-to-book museum. 🏠Xihuang Temple Museum 📍No. 11, Huangsi Street, Deshengmenwai 🎫Free admission ⚠️Reservations must be made one week in advance 🅿️Bailong Building Parking Lot or Mingcheng Hotel Parking Lot 🈯️Visiting route: Hall of Heavenly Kings ➡️ Mahavira Hall ➡️ Stupa of Purity and Transformation (walk around the stupa three times) ➡️ Sutra Hall Exhibition Room ➡️ Stupa of Purity and Transformation Exhibition Hall ➡️ Stele of the Panchen Lama ➡️ Chuihua Gate 🌈Highlights: 1️⃣The Stupa of Purity and Transformation is a stupa with a bottle carved with three main Buddhas and eight Bodhisattvas, and each side of the stupa is carved with eight Buddhas; 2️⃣The base of the stupa is carved with the sea, auspicious clouds, aquatic plants, birds, and animals, and each side of the eight-sided Sumeru seat is carved with a Buddhist story; 3️⃣Stone archway: There is a wooden imitation stone archway on the north and south sides of the stupa, with a pattern of two dragons playing with a pearl on the beam and a pattern of a kylin on both sides. Inside, there is a couplet written by Emperor Qianlong, as well as the six-character mantra in Sanskrit and the "Eight Auspicious Symbols" pattern. 🍅In addition, there is a row of persimmon trees in front of the Sutra Hall, symbolizing good luck, which should be red after the National Day and is well worth a visit.
