Worship Phra Si Sanphet Thotsaphonyan at Wat Sam Ngam

🏡 Wat Chamnihatthakan, commonly known as Wat Sam Ngam, was originally named Wat Phikun Thong. It is an ancient temple. In 1824, Phra Ya Chamnihatthakan renovated it and named it Wat Phra Ya Chamni. Later, King Rama IV renamed it Wat Chamnihatthakan. The important and interesting features within the temple are as follows: 🏠 The Ubosot: This building features the royal architectural style of King Rama III. The roof is not decorated with traditional ornaments, and there are no chofah, bai raka, or hang hong. The gable and gable frame are adorned with Chinese-style stucco floral patterns, and there are surrounding columns. Inside, there is the Phra Si Sanphet Thotsaphonyan, a Sukhothai-style Buddha image in the Mara Vichai posture. 🏡 The Vihara of the Reclining Buddha: The roof is decorated with traditional ornaments, and the gable is adorned with stucco floral patterns. The upper walls have niches housing Buddha images all around.
