Pray to Phra Phuttha Chaiyawat Rattanamahamuni

🏡Wat Ruak Bang Bamru has evidence indicating it was built in 1676, during the reign of King Narai the Great. Originally named Wat Ruak because the area was densely populated with Ruak trees, the temple is located in the Bang Bamru area. Key attractions within the temple include: 🏠The new ordination hall, which is perpendicular to the old ordination hall. Both buildings are surrounded by a glass wall, with the front gable housing the Naga Buddha image. Inside, there is the Phra Phuttha Chaiyawat Rattanamahamuni Buddha image in the Sukhothai style. 🏕The Vihara, which is the old ordination hall, is a Maha Uth ordination hall with early Ayutthaya architecture. The side walls have a single window in the middle, but the stucco makes it appear as if there are six windows.
