I just ate there yesterday at COTE by Mauro Colagreco at Capella Bangkok, a 6-star Ultra Luxury Hotel on the banks of the Chao Phraya River. Cote by Mauro Colagreco is a French fine dining restaurant owned by Chef Mauro Colagreco, the owner of Mirazur in France, which was ranked No. 1 in the world's best restaurant by World's Best Restaurant 2019, and has been guaranteed 3 Michelin stars. Cote by Mauro Colagreco at Capella Bangkok is decorated in a simple, luxurious, and comfortable style, with privacy and a view of the Chao Phraya River. This time, I had the Set Course: Inspiration 5 courses, the normal price is 3500++ but I bought a voucher from the event at Paragon for 3500 Net. The food started with three Amuse Bouche dishes: Tart made from seaweed / Mussels from France coated with gelatin / New maccaron with apple filling. Followed by Signature bread, Chef Mauro's grandmother's recipe, warm and crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, served with olive oil made from lemon marinated in olive oil. Dish 1: Artichoke Salad: Artichoke was made in 5 forms, but I personally like the deep-fried one. Dish 2: Foie Gras, Pomelo: Large pieces of foie gras, rich flavor, imported directly from France, served with pomelo and pomelo puree. The texture of the foie gras was very good. Dish 3: Pasta of the day: Today's pasta was fresh pasta, pesto sauce with mussels, rich flavor of pesto, chewy and delicious noodles. Boiled to perfection, Al Dente style Dish 4: Main course: John Dory fish served with a semi-creamy sauce, similar to mash potato, made from artichoke and crispy fried artichoke. The highlight is that the staff will slice a lot of Black Traffles, fragrant and not too strong. Last dish, dessert: You can choose between Mille-Feuille and Yogurt rasberry, both are delicious. Finally, Petit Four at Fine Dining restaurant will serve as a bonus, 4 bite-sized desserts, every piece is delicious. In conclusion, for those who like French food in Fine Dining style, don't miss Cote by Mauro Colagreco at Capella Hotel Bangkok.
