The temple at edge of the cliff

Uluwatu Temple, also known as Pura Luhur Uluwatu, is known for its spectacular setting, located on a high cliff about 70 meters above the ocean. Uluwatu Temple, one of Bali's'spiritual pillars,' shares the same magnificent sunset backdrops as Tanah Lot Temple, another important sea temple on the island's western coast. Pura Luhur Uluwatu is undoubtedly one of the best sites in Bali to watch a spectacular sunset, with direct views of the Indian Ocean's gorgeous waves and daily Kecak dance performances hosted at a nearby amphitheatre. Uluwatu Temple's beauty is enhanced by Balinese architecture, traditional gateways, and ancient statues. #oldarchitecture#templeblessed#historicculture#bestislandtraveltowns#naturalwonders#summervacation#beachvacation#hikingtrails#urbanexplorer

Toya Yeh Bubuh Temple in Banjar Dinas Petiga Kangin, Marga, Tabanan. This temple is often used as a meditation site by spiritual devotees. Behind the temple are two shrines, and to the west is a waterfall. Toya Bubuh Waterfall is different from most waterfalls because it is located underground and has a pond beneath it. It is believed to be guarded by a supernatural being in the form of a giant eel, the mount of Ida Bhatara, who resides at the temple. Within the pond live numerous sacred eels. On certain days, especially during Balinese holy days, more than two eels appear. For those with a sixth sense, the eels here are multicolored, not just black. This is where residents are said to seek healing for itching. The Head of the Toya Yeh Bubuh Temple, I Nyoman Suparta, added that the Paliwet Tatwa chronicle explains that the "julit" (the "julit") and the name Toya Bubuh originate from a water source on the slopes of the Petiga forest. At that time, the Badung Kingdom attacked the Mengwi Kingdom. Mengwi soldiers fled to Petiga. One of Mengwi's figures, Ki Gede Dalem Sekalan, along with his family and followers, fled, pursued by Badung soldiers until they arrived at the banks of the Yeh Sungi River, which was experiencing a flash flood. The rain continued unabated, while the screams of the enemies became increasingly clear as they chased Pasek Sekalan. Suddenly, an object resembling a tree trunk was seen drifting from the north and became stuck in front of him. He then used the object to cross the Yeh Sungi River. After everyone had passed, the tree trunk moved and turned out to be a giant julit fish sent to assist Ki Gede. Ki Gede Sekalan managed to escape the pursuit of the Badung Kingdom's troops. Upon arriving in the Petiga forest, he discovered a waterfall. After drinking the water, he felt as if he had eaten rice filled with side dishes, so the waterfall was called Toya Bubuh. “Toya means water, while bubuh #travelguide#historicculture#naturalwonders#summervacation#beachvacation#hikingtrails#hotelstay#urbanexplorer
