The Parthenon Temple was absolutely breathtaking.

📍Parthenon Temple Athens 105 58, Greece I used a ticket that grants access to seven major tourist sites, including the Acropolis, valid for five days ✊. Even though I thought I left early, by the time I arrived before 10:00 AM, the place was already packed with tour groups, which was quite surprising 💦. It seems like no matter what time you visit, the site is always crowded with people...💦. This world-famous tourist destination had some scaffolding set up for restoration work, which felt a bit unfortunate (?). The people of the 5th century BC were truly remarkable, utilizing their wisdom and technology to construct such a massive temple on a hill (almost a cliff) overlooking the city of Athens. I had always imagined the Parthenon Temple as a solitary structure perched on a hill, but seeing it up close, it was far larger and more impressive than I had imagined. I hope to visit again during my lifetime to see how much progress has been made in its restoration.
