A breathtaking 360° panoramic view of Athens from the Parthenon

📍Location: Lycabettus Hill, Athens Lycabettus Hill, a small elevated area located in the heart of Athens, offers a stunning view of the city. It takes approximately 15 minutes on foot to reach the summit. Along the way, you can catch glimpses of landmarks such as the Athens Olympic Stadium and the Parthenon. As you approach the top, the surrounding scenery gradually lowers, allowing you to enjoy a sweeping view of Athens from above. The path is straightforward and fully paved with concrete, making it easy to climb. However, since the journey takes about 15 minutes, it’s recommended to take your time and enjoy the scenery as you ascend. Depending on the time of day, you can witness the city’s nightscape or a beautiful sunset, offering a view from a higher vantage point than the Parthenon. There is no entrance fee, making it an accessible spot for everyone to visit. At the summit, you’ll find a small church called "Agios Georgios Church." When I visited, it was closed, but you might be able to enter if your timing is right. The summit is quite windy, so be sure to dress warmly to protect yourself from the cold.
