Experience Greek Mythology and History at the National Archaeological Museum in Athens

At this museum, you can get up close to statues of gods from Greek mythology, including Athena, Zeus, and Aphrodite. It’s a place where you can rediscover the Greek myths and history you’ve learned about. The building has two floors, and the recommended visit time is about two hours. However, if you take your time and explore thoroughly, you could easily spend an entire day here. Photography is freely allowed inside the museum. Since the museum tends to get crowded during the day, visiting early in the morning is highly recommended. The statue of Aphrodite, the goddess of beauty, is particularly stunning and left a lasting impression on me. Near the museum entrance, there’s a restaurant surrounded by beautiful greenery and flowers. On sunny days, be sure to enjoy a meal on the restaurant’s terrace for a delightful experience.
