Classy hotel, well situated with friendly and efficient staff. Dinner was well executed offering both indoor, patio and bar seating depending on your preference. There is a library room with a fireplace to relax with a drink or coffee in the morning. Also a nice gym downstairs including Peloton bikes. Definitely a step up from the big hotel chains and a lovely place to stay while visiting Washington DC.
The location is very good, and most scenic spots are within 2 kilometers. Although the hotel is a bit old, it still feels very tasteful. The service is a bit lacking. After the Amazon package arrived at the front desk, I asked twice and was told it was not available. Finally, I took a photo of the Amazon package and said it was found.

Booking in advance can get you a good discount. The hotel's location is about a 20-minute walk to the White House and other major attractions. There's a large supermarket nearby, and Chinese restaurants (offering dine-in or takeout) are approximately a kilometer away. Free breakfast, hot water, and coffee are available on the ground floor. The room itself is quite spacious; one bed can comfortably sleep two adults, and it could just about work for a family of three or four. Rooms are equipped with a microwave and a coffee maker. Please note that slippers and toothbrushes are not provided, though shampoo is. The shower has excellent water pressure, is easy to operate, and very clean. Overall, I was quite satisfied with my stay.

The location is perfect for arriving by Amtrak. The room is spacious and so is the bathroom. The only thing is the carpet is very old and wore that it just looked a bit dirty. I had to ask for slippers to walk around the room. Staff is polite but I can’t say they were very friendly. After all it’s Hilton and is expected to be polite and professional. One thing to note is there is no master switch for all the lights, occupants have to turn off all the light one by one

Self-service hotel is great! This is the second time I have stayed and the children like it very much. The room is large in size, has a kitchen and complete kitchen utensils. The decoration is modern, newer and the house is bright. Excellent location, between the Potomac River and Georgetown Shopping Street, bustling out, quiet in, surrounded by CVS supermarkets and pharmacies, seven or eight minutes walk to trade joe's supermarket, more than 20 minutes walk with Georgetown University and the White House, and the block is safe. The hotel lobby is available for leisure, but also There is billiards. There are not many staff, but they are busy and do not disturb the guests. Ask questions can be solved quickly. They can be communicated through the network and can be solved in time. If the disadvantage is that the air conditioner host is in the wall of the room, it is very noisy when it is started, and earplugs are given. My solution is to drop After a certain temperature, adjust the temperature and then change the AUTO mode. The room temperature rises below the preset temperature, and the host will not start.

It's 20 mins walk to Union Station and 15 mins walk to Union Market. Bus station & few convenience stores nearby. However, there are plenty of homeless asking for money where I have to circle around to avoid them following me into the building. Apartment is spacious but the door banging sound is loud. Homeless yelling downstairs is also annoying. Nice to have washer, dryer with washing tablets and drying paper. Dish washing tablets are also provided. Complete utensils (I think cos I did not use them) and 2 bottles of water. I like the dripping coffee. Receptionists were all poker face and told me there is no bottle water when I called to check. Open door for me when the door access machine is not working but she complaint a bit. Overall satisfied and recommend to stay here.

Our stay at the Lyle Hotel was okay, but we were disappointed with the pricing. The rate on the booking was $177, but we ended up having to pay an additional $60 in extra fees at checkout. These unexpected charges give hotels and booking platforms a bad reputation. Washington was a great destination, but this experience left a sour taste. However, the dinner at Annie’s Paramount Steakhouse was fantastic! Definitely a recommendation.
Location is good, pretty close to the airport. No airport shuttle service though. Front desk people are nice and friendly. Room is clean. Love the neighborhood around the hotel. Many good restaurants within walking distance. It also takes about 15 minutes walking to the nearest metro station. My girls also loved the outdoor swimming pool. It’s pretty nice to swim in a pool with Washington Monument in the background. Definitely recommend this place to the families with kids.

It was simply GREAT! The staff is super friendly and helpful. Pleasant atmosphere. Everything was also very neat. We had booked a room with a king size bed and the room was very spacious, very handy if you travel with large luggage, the bed was also fantastic. Good mattress and pillows. We also ate in the hotel restaurant, personally I thought it was a bit too expensive and there were no other people there which made the atmosphere a bit strange. The parking of the hotel itself was also a bit on the pricey side.

The hotel's location is a definite plus, and the price is quite reasonable. It's incredibly convenient – you can reach the White House by just turning left out of the hotel and walking a few hundred meters. The subway station is also only two blocks away. However, the service was a bit lacking, particularly the mandatory $35 daily fee, which I found quite unreasonable. Additionally, the hotel's air conditioning unit is extremely old; it roared like a bomber when turned on.

Amazing
MMarstianEverything is good; Breakfast is buffet, Employee have good at service and good at location. But I have some problem about smart tv.
GGuest UserThe decoration looks like an old-fashioned hotel, so the facilities are a little bit worse. But the room is big enough, the health is good, there is a coffee machine, and the customer service staff are also very polite.
It takes about ten minutes to get to the station.
NNovax2 bedrooms and 1 living room. There are 2 large beds in the room. The sofa in the living room can be unfolded into a large bed. There is a mattress, but it is soft, so it is suitable for children. It is difficult to sleep with one big and one small. Turning over will make a creaking sound, so it is most suitable for big children who sleep soundly, so as not to affect the quality of sleep. There are 2 bathrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped, but there is no supermarket nearby, so buying ingredients is a problem. The hotel can buy them for you and charges a 30-dollar courier fee. There is a small supermarket in the hotel where you can buy snacks and water. Breakfast includes scrambled eggs, waffles, sausages, oatmeal and other hot foods, and drinks are all iced. Self-service coffee, hot water is provided in the self-service coffee area. The hotel has free water filling equipment, so bottled water is not provided. It will change slightly every day. The hotel parking fee is about 53 dollars. There are many parking lots around, but it is also quite expensive (I don’t remember the specific price). You can take the subway Silver Line to Dulles Airport, which is 6.75 one-way plus 2 yuan card fee. It takes about 1 hour to get to the airport. Walk to the national mall area, about 10-15 minutes walk
GGuest UserThe first room had a very noisy fan. I was moved to another room which was much quieter. I noticed that there were several small issues with the room and relayed them to the front desk, where a manager (Keith) overheard me and said he would look into it. Nothing happened to correct it during the entire stay, not a note to say how or if it would be corrected. The issue was a ring of paint or epoxy in the bathtub, something that should have been cleaned up at the time of painting.
The second issue was the very poor arrangement of lighting in the room. Lamps were confined to small areas, there was no overhead light and the bathroom was either overlit or underlit, while the closet area was dark unless it was daylight. Afterwards I noticed that there large holes in the sheer curtains in the room. Not tragic, but not in keeping with the tenor and tone of a Marriott Bonvoy.
In the lobby there was only an ADA service elevator to go from the street to the lobby level. It was self operated, no instructions, no indication lights on either level and a bit noisy.

GGuest UserThe facilities are relatively old. It's a motel on the side of the road, and the sanitation is average. It might be the graduation season this time, and I couldn't book a room, so I chose this one at random, and the price is relatively high.
GGuest UserStayed four nights for a conference across the street at the Hilton. I have stayed here once before and had a good stay. It seems to have gone downhill, as the service was terrible no matter who I spoke to at the front desk. Housekeeping never came my entire stay despite: 1) being told housekeeping is every 2 days (according to one person ) or 3 days (according to a different person); 2) requesting trash pickup, extra hangars, two clean towels on Day 2 and being told it would happen while I was gone for the day; 3) requesting it again on the next day since it didn't happen previously. Again, I returned to my room at the end of the day and it had not happened. Explained this to the front desk upon checkout on Day 4 and they were ”shocked.” No attempt to rectify/compensate though. Another problem was I missed a delivery one evening because the phone was not working in my room. They never fixed it. I was dealing with a different person each time and not a single one was able to address any of the above issues. Last time I am staying here.
