Spacious room for the same category of hotel. Room amenities also complete. They even gave local snack food n 2 cans of carbonated drinks. Hotel didn't provide bottle drinking water but at every floor, 2 units of water dispenser were placed and the filtered water taste good. Only one bad thing, room's window sound proofing were poor. Can hear noise from outside of window.

Reached there 11.30am and understandable the rooms are not ready. But waited for 3 hours after I saw they gave the keys to other families. I asked again then only they said the both rooms are just ready and not as what I requested. The room assigned was so damn far. I mean like I waited for so long and my mum was on wheelchair and my son already started to be impatience. I will be very much appreciate at least give me one room first. oh ya this hotel is so not wheelchair friendly as there's lots of stairs and ups and downs. Other than that, to be fair other services it's at satisfactory level. Thanks for the effort anyway.

Our regular hotel whenever we visit Ipoh. We like the convenient location as the hotel is directly connected to the shopping mall Ipoh Parade. The rooms are spacious and clean with adequate amenities. An in-room water filter dispenser is provided for you to refill the water jugs whenever needed. The breakfast spread provided is amazing! I particularly like the nasi lemak. This time around, supper between 11pm to 12mn was provided too. We would definitely go back to stay again.
M Roof Hotel & Residences

During my recent stay at M Roof Hotel, I was left thoroughly impressed not only by its exceptional location and cosy rooms but also by the incredible level of service that went far beyond expectations. Nestled conveniently close to the main tourist attractions, the hotel makes it easy for travelers to explore the city's sights, whether you're strolling to local museums or catching a nearby cultural performance. Its accessibility is truly a standout feature for any visitor wanting to experience the best of the area. The rooms themselves are a welcoming retreat, designed with a sense of warmth and comfort that made every night’s rest a rejuvenating experience. The attention to detail in the room’s amenities ensured that I felt completely at home, while the quiet atmosphere provided an ideal escape after a day of exploration. However, it was the level of care and attentiveness displayed by the hotel staff that truly stood out. On one particular evening, when my daughter was unexpectedly admitted to the hospital, the hotel went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of. Not only did they send their limousine driver to ferry my daughter to and from the hospital, but they also arranged for a thoughtful delivery of porridge and a fruit platter for her recovery, which was sent by the hotel for the following two days. This compassionate gesture was a reflection of the personal touch that M Roof Hotel prides itself on. The staff’s proactive kindness and genuine concern for my family’s well-being truly elevated our stay from a simple visit to an unforgettable experience. Their ability to blend luxury with heartfelt service is what sets M Roof Hotel apart. In conclusion, M Roof Hotel provides a seamless combination of convenience, comfort, and unparalleled service. I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a place to stay where both the quality of the room and the warmth of the staff exceed expectations. Simply put, a stay here is an experience in hospitality at its finest.

This is the place where i felt safe when i go to Ipoh. As usually the front office always excellent, no deposit because i already settle the payment before, but have to pay 2 night tourism tax cost rm6. As enter the spacious room with king size bed, the linen was comfy and clean. Also got bath tub and rain shower. But i realise the ventilation fan not working. Lotion, syampoo and shower gel attached to the wall. No tooth brush. 2 free water bottle per day. Got iron and iron board, the wardrobe was big. Got hair dryer and refrigerator. I also order the room service which it cost me rm17 nett. Beef lasagna with salad, desert and free drink. Not bad. Will come again to this hotel if i come to Ipoh.😁

this is the second time i’m staying at this place. the first time was booked via agoda. the room is spacious and nice but floor is dusty. but that isn’t a big deal for me. what has really ruined my mood for the stay was the front desk guy. he is an indian man. he called me 3 times on the morning of my stay but i didn’t pick up because i was driving from KL. when i reach there around 2.30 pm after i had my lunch, i gave a call to the number in the front desk (which was his number who called me earlier) to ask if can check-in now or need to wait until 3pm. he said 3pm and i was okay since it’s just a few more minutes until 3pm anyway. no one was in the premise at that time which is why i call the number written on the whiteboard. during my check-in, he is complaining about why i didn’t pickup the call so he didn’t know what time i’m coming to check in. so unprofessional of him to say that the first thing to a guest. trying to blame me? well first, you’re calling in the morning of my trip and you can’t expect me to pickup the phone when i’m driving? you could have just leave a message on whatsapp if i didn’t pickup the call. everybody is using whatsapp nowadays so what’s so hard to reach me? second, he asks for RM50 deposit but my mother didn’t hear at first so she asked what the RM50 is for and he said to buy KFC? repeatedly saying to buy KFC. is that suppose to be a joke? we all know he’s just trying to be sarcastic to my mother because that isn’t funny at all to us. during my first time stay at this place on Dec 2023, Mr Poon whatsapp me A DAY before my trip to confirm my booking and my arrival time. it was pleasant and easy with Mr Poon which is why i choose this place again for my second trip but turns out, the front desk is a different person this time and he really ruined my mood during my stay there because of his unprofessional attitude.

Firstly, quite dissapointed because we were allocated at Block C and the room was different from the pics provided when booking (no fantastic view, no bathtub like shown in the booking). Plus our room facing the city and there's ”birds” loitering ard the balcony. There are 3 blocks and the block C given to us itself quite empty and scary too. When we walk ard the hotel area at night can see only few units are occupied. Even the atmosphere at Block C were eerie luckily no ghost of cos if not we would check out immediately. We dont even dare open the curtains cos too eerie after knowing not many occupants/guests at Block C. My husband told me he actually asked to upgrade room to Block A few days before we check in, but was informed no vacancy at Block A. But when we check in, we asked to change to Block A but was informed need to top up rm250 per night because Block A. So conflicting of information. Plus, they should just fill up visitors to Block A or B, so it wont be too scary. Secondly, the toilet bowls are not that clean with yellow stains. Although, we were surprised with the ”birthday” bed decoration and ”birthday cake”, the atmosphere at Block C is eerie itself. Definitely not coming back.

Sunway Onsen Suites @ Lost World of Tambun by Ryokan Management
4.5/514 Reviews
First the positive, it was a bit a clean. Had enough towels. This is my first time with ryokan, but 3rd time to stay in sunway onsen suites. Other previous times the rooms were excellent. However this room, the moment we enter, had hair on the floor n beds. There was no water dispenser, no iron board and washing machine. Bathroom had cockroaches and the water flow was so slow. Ryokan management can look for some upgrade for the room. For Sunway onsen suites management, please clean your pools! Both the onsen n the salt water pool were dirty! We even found a pair of underpants. Reason given was rain bring dirt from mountains🤷♀️. Overall great view of the themepark n mountains.
