Pros : walking distance to heritage place. Easy to find food. Clean room and i guess newly renovated hotel. Cons : this room definitely not a cityview as described, abit disappointed feeling like being scammed. Can see the picture ive taken. Soundproofing very bad & i can hear clearly people Walk outside & bang the door.

Our stay at Subway Hotel Georgetown was pleasant, starting with a smooth and friendly check-in process. We arrived earlier than expected, and since our room was already ready, the staff kindly allowed us to check in ahead of time. This made for a great start to our trip! A standout feature of this hotel is the complimentary shuttle bus service, which took us around town. It was a convenient and cost-saving perk, as we didn’t have to spend extra on Grab rides. The hotel’s central location is another major advantage, making it easy to walk to many of Georgetown’s hotspots. With plenty of great food nearby, it’s hard to go wrong here. Our 7th-floor room offered a lovely view, but the pool area views were even more impressive. The bathroom was well-equipped with a hand nozzle in the shower and excellent water pressure, which was definitely appreciated after a long day out. The room also provided two purified glass water bottles and a nice selection of coffee and tea for a refreshing start to the day. However, not everything was perfect. The bathroom sink in our room (732) had a very slow drain, which was frustrating. While the TV was a bit outdated, I was still able to enjoy watching the Manchester City game, so it didn’t impact our experience too much. The toilet seat was old and did not close quietly. To end on a high note, I have to mention the bed. It was a true king-size, possibly even a California king, and incredibly comfortable. My partner and I had a great night’s sleep, thanks to the soft mattress and the four pillows (with two being firm, which was my preference). Overall, I really enjoyed my stay here and would recommend Subway Hotel Georgetown to others!

Check in process ok. Problem started dkt bilik, aircond rosak. Then nk tukar bilik took almost 30mins. Without any proper complimentary ke apa. Both bilik lama and bilik baru not so clean. Shower ada rambut sampai tersumbat. Then bunyi kereta motor bas lori semua boleh dgr even from tingkat 10. Breakfast biasa biasa je. Not worth to try again i think..

I had an amazing stay at the Park Royal Resort Penang! The clean environment and the huge swimming pool were perfect for a relaxing getaway. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure all our needs were met. The beachfront location provided stunning views and easy access to the beach. Highly recommend for families and anyone looking to enjoy a lively beach vacation!

It is located in one of the mains areas of Georgetown, very close to Komtar Tower. The staff is very helpful and polite. The room service is lovely. Their breakfast is one of the best I have ever had. The hotel adheres to eco-friendly policies.

Thanks to the friendly staff especially Adeline respond fast and fulfilled my request on birthday decorations. Things need to improve is the room musty smell, gym room out of order and limited parking. Pleasant stay due to room is big and friendly staff.

I think it’s something unavoidable, given the location in the hustle and bustle of the city. As a first time user of trip.com, therefore I got some discount in paying for the total bill. The most I love is the water dispenser. I can get refilling easily and stay hydrated throughout the stay. Nice komtar view at night is a plus point.

The staff is extremely friendly and goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. The hotel’s location is convenient and easy to access, making it perfect for both relaxation and exploration. The rooms and common areas are clean and well-maintained, ensuring a truly enjoyable stay. We will definitely come back to stay again.

Arrived around 6pm and the checked inn was great. Got room on higher floor as per requested. Nice pool view. We didnt take the breakfast as we plan going out eat at that time. Overall it was a nice place to stay especially the location was superb.

Super strategic and convenient location within Georgetown vicinity.. easily access to tourist attractions by just walking (if you don't mind to walk under malaysia weather) or e-hailing at reasonable prices.. strongly recommended..

We recently enjoyed a stay at the DoubleTree Resort Penang in a twin room with a sofa bed. The room was spacious enough for our family, and we appreciated the hotel setting up the sofa bed. The water pressure in the shower was fantastic, and the room had all the necessary amenities. We were welcomed with delicious cookies, a nice touch. However, parking was RM3 per day per entry, which adds up. The breakfast buffet was average, not as impressive as the DoubleTree KL's offering. Internet speed was decent for general use, but not lightning fast. The pool was smaller than expected, especially compared to some neighboring hotels. While the bridge to Miami Beach was convenient, we preferred the larger, more vibrant Ferringhi Walk and Ferringhi Bay beaches nearby. Overall, a decent stay for families, but with a few areas for improvement.

They do have water dispenser in front of the lift. I have checked out their common Iron area, however for me the iron board is not up to par. The entrance might is bit narrow for me with 2 hand carry. It will be great if the shower room have more space. Nearby have food and minimart. It’s suitable for 1 person stay.

Is a good hotel, at a very convenient location, near and short to Macalister street and gurney. Staff are super friendly and nice. Just one thing the room sound proof are not that good, can listen next door loud chatting or alarm sound. Overall still ok with the hotel

Eventhough this hotel are old but the rooms still OK to stay. Clean and tv channels are clear. Comes with complimentary parking as well. Walking distance to many convenience store and restaurants or food stalls.

Nice stay experience. The room is spacious and fully furnished. The location is good.plan to come back on next trip. Unfortunately, the kitchen dish wash detergen was rotten smell and yellowish.Looks like they never regular change it. It was disgusting to use it to wash the plate.Hoefully, they take note for each room dish wash Detergent.

Courteous staffs. Check in seems compulsory to use the self check in machine. But it's a user friendly and smooth. Check out can use self service machine or through the receptionist staffs. No in room dining menu in the room, but probably need to call/ask. Anyone can access guest rooms floor as there's no access card restrictions, I hope can improve on this for security reason. Good amenities overall. I like the colgate brand toothpaste. Feels legit and clean using it. Soap amd shampoo formulated by Tanamera. Love the soft pillows and bed as well. Breakfast buffet is so and so in terms of options compared to other 4 stars hotel, but I think it's enough. All tasted good. Located just right next to Sunway Medical Center and walking distance to few shop lot restaurants both halal and non halal. But for some, including Sunway Carnival Mall, you need to cross road manually(no traffic lights for pedestrian). Quite easy to get ehailing from the hotel. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

The hotel’s location is strategic. My 1st time in Seberang Jaya. The staffs were all very helpful and friendly. Even the bell boy & housekeeping boy, I cant remember his real name but he kept my AlQuran neatly on the table. Thanks. The room i was staying in had a very amazing view during day & night as it facing the city. Thanks for the warm hospitality as i felt welcomed. But something to improve with the toilet. Please check with the toilet system or something regarding the the ventilating system. I had problem with the security box too but the staffs came immediately to fix it. Overall, other than those prob, hotel was good!

Check in on saturday,quite late check in and hotel seems not so busy. Room was okay and toilet was clean but there's leftover drinks with plastic inside the mini bar. Supervisor didnt check the room properly. Hope management will take actions and housekeeping supervisor double check the room before let the guest checking in.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the staff were incredibly friendly. They even upgraded my room, which was a pleasant surprise. The shower and toilet were spotless, and the automatic toilet bowl had so many features. On level two, there's a great reflexology massage therapy center and a golf simulator area with a bar, perfect for relaxation. The hotel's location is fantastic, with McDonald's, KFC, Starbucks, Krispy Kreme, Tealive, FuHouse Restaurant, 4Fingers Crispy Chicken, Subway, 7-Eleven, and The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf all nearby. Further down the street, there's a Burger King inside the Caltex petrol station. Highly recommended.

Walking distance to sunway carnival mall.. near bank… tpt makan.. suasana persekitaran yg cerah..meriah dan tidak menakutkan. Definitely will come agian to this hotel. Harga pun murah dlm RM 125 per night utk bilik double bed. Staff peramah dan membantu. Yg xbest parking khas xada.. so kena pandai2 cari available parking near the hotel. N kena install apps Penang parking utk byr pakir. Overall, semuanya bagus🫶👍

The hotel is strategically located in Bukit Mertajam. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The room is clean with all the necessary basic amenities. Disposable toothbrush is even provided. It is a good hotel to stay just to bunk in for a good night sleep.
