We are regulars at KSL resort but this time round (tower 1) was really disappointing as returning guests. Toilet door was faulty, it wasn’t even the correct fit (door to frame) cannot even close. When the maintenance guy came, he literally forcefully slammed the door and that was the resolution for it! Plus water were seeping out from the toilet floor and it was just annoying stepping on a wet ponded toilet. Day 2, we realised with the “force closing” of the toilet door, the ceiling was found to be “dropping”. Seriously the location is undeniably good but their rooms needed a good revamp else should not release out for booking.

Love the people at the front desk, they are always so happy and friendly. Check-in took a bit longer than usual but the staff were very apologetic. I stayed in the Urban room at level 12 facing the highway and river. To my surprise it was rather quiet I can’t really hear the traffic. Morning breakfast at level 6 was pretty crowded. The next morning I just went down earlier and it was great. The girls at breakfast were always happy to welcome us… keep it up 👍

The room that we booked is for 3 adults and 1 child. 1 single bed and 1 king bed. The only lacking of amenities is no hand towel was provided. Ceiling fan in the room but you can’t adjust the speed of the fan as there’s no remote for you to control. Check in wise, fast and the staff was very helpful. Hotel location was good, 6mins walking distance to JB City Square. And for those foodie, lots of foods surrounding that area. Money changer just next to the hotel. The most thing that I like is the car park. Private parking using lift. Roughly 8 cars can park per floor and only accessible with your room key card. Which mean, you only able to access to your own car park level. Overall, was good.

Overall it's good and out of expected as room look newly renov and clean, since it's for 2D1N as gateway, hotel are big and with amenities, duty free zon below it's and some short shopping is good within the area. Breakfast come with variety and food wise is good especially it's nasik lemak. No time for swimming pool and it's recommended but room to further improve

They say third time’s a charm and we are so happy to come back here and bring our parents this time, we secured such a great deal from trip- a king sized room at such a steal which includes breakfast for two. Dear Crystal Crown Management Team, First of all, I would like to thank you for the hospitality during this period. To begin with, I have a brother who is currently serving quarantine at Hotel Ramada, so I know exactly what are the two hotels offering and its differences. Nevertheless, my stay with Crystal Crown has been a decent one which I am grateful for. I will also be honest with you that there are quite number of areas which need to be improved, not only for the wellbeing of the next batch of guests, but also for the benefit of your staff members. Hence, I would like to provide some constructive suggestions. 1) Communications a) Clarity on the rules of food / items delivery. The RELA briefed us on the arrival day, but it was unclear as we were seated outdoor. A suggestion is to include pictures in your document. See the attached photo for illustration. Besides pasting the rules at the entrance, you could also print it out in black and white for every room, together with the welcome letter. I believe that once the rules are spelled out clearly, the guests will manage their expectations accordingly. b) Distribute the 14 days necessities (e.g. mineral waters, trash bag, toiletries) at one shot. This is also a good practice of Hotel Ramada. Not only the guests can ration the items based on their needs, it also saves your hotel staff the trouble of attending to the needs of the guests at all time. c) Discontinue the whatsapp group. I understand the intention of setting up the group is for emergency purpose. But we all clearly know that this is not the case. Unfortunately, the chat group becomes a platform of all sorts of stuff: from requesting the daily necessities, clarifying the same delivery rules, asking the staff to pick up and send food / items, to spamming the group of 198 people with complaints and feud, or even turning the group into personal chat room. I believe once point a) & b) are sorted out, there is less need to use the whatsapp group as the main channel of communication. We can always use the phone in our room to call the front desk for additional requests or attend to emergency matters. Respecting the guests’ privacy is very much appreciated. 2) Dietary Preferences a) Make the effort to collect guests’ dietary needs and be committed to attend to it. This is a basic etiquette and fundamentals of the hospitality industries. Peanut and seafood allergies can be severe and deadly. The health of people with medical conditions (e.g. diabetes) could be affected. Not to mention the vulnerable such as the elderly, young children and pregnant women. We are human after all, hence the importance of mutual respect – treat the guests the way you want to be treated. b) Look after the well-being of the vegetarians. I would like to speak up for the vegetarians, especially those who practise strict vegetarianism. They cannot to take onions, garlic, chives, green onions and leeks, as it cause anger and desi

Really strategic location,surrounded by the makan2 port,the view is spectacular,room really spacious..the only things is got spotted a bit spoiled about cleanliness,the kettle got rusty stained and it’s really terrible condition🥲the window got so many fingers printed and it’s oily some more it’s really spoiling the veiws…the blanket look a bit old style,it a bit itchy..hope the cleanliness got improvement time to time😇

Capri is just directly behind the custom and there was a massive jam just to drive to the hotel. Just a 5 mins drive took me 1hr plus to turn to the hotel. The carpark is a maze. Even with directions, you would be confused. The room was clean just that that's a pungent smell in the toilet - literally a smell of a baby spoiled diapers in Room 1001. Feedback upon checked out. Hope they do something to it. There isn't anything to eat, so you will have to drive out to eat each time. Unless you don't mind the cafeteria downstairs. Otherwise be prepared to hit the jam over and over again. Highly likely will not stay over at Capri again due to the location.

It’s good that now have mynews convenience store but they don’t have plastic bag. I was wondering if someone bought so many things how are they going to carry all of that? Enough about the good things. Now is the not so good. Well, my family said that the breakfast was a bit boring because last time we went had many menus to eat. The coffee machine also take time n the queue was long. Inside the room, the iron is working but we do not know how to fill up the water as there’s wire inside the iron. In the toilet, try to have a long hose for bidet so that it’s easier for us to clean ourselves. Thank you.

Room: The room looked outdated, and the shower was a big disappointment—old and not very clean. On the bright side, they did provide basic amenities like shower gel, shampoo, a toothbrush and toothpaste, and bottled water, which was appreciated. The bed and pillows were decent enough for a good night’s rest. Service: Check-in was efficient and quick—less than 10 minutes, which was great. Just a heads-up, they require a deposit of 100 RM upon check-in, so be prepared for that. Overall, the experience didn’t live up to the standards of a 4-star hotel. With the outdated room and shower issues, I can’t justify the 4-star claim. This place might be okay if you manage your expectations, but I wouldn’t recommend it for those looking for a true 4-star experience.

I recently stayed at this hotel and while there were some positives, there were also several areas that need improvement. The room itself wasn’t very well maintained and had an old appearance. The furniture and decor looked dated, which gave the room a somewhat worn-out feel. Cleanliness could also be improved as there were a few areas that didn’t feel as fresh as expected. On the bright side, the hotel offers full amenities, which was a nice touch. The location is definitely a highlight—there are plenty of eateries nearby. We enjoyed a delicious meal of lok lok at a spot just a short walk from the hotel. The owner of the lok lok stall was extremely friendly and provided great service, which added to our overall experience. Overall, the hotel could use some updates and a focus on cleanliness, but the location and nearby food options were great.

Service: The service was excellent. The receptionist was friendly and polite. I appreciated that they lent me the adaptor since I didn't wanna buy - got so many at home already Room: The room was spacious with a single sofa. While there was no bathtub, the bathroom had high water pressure and included complimentary toiletries such as shower gel, a comb, and a dental kit. The in-room amenities like Nescafé, Dilmah tea, sugar, and creamer were a nice touch. Bed: The bed was very comfortable with clean sheets, and the pillows provided good comfort. Room Smell: Upon entering the room, there was an unpleasant odor, but thankfully, it dissipated after a while. Wi-Fi: The Wi-Fi was fast and free, which was a big plus for staying connected. TV Channels: The TV offered Malaysian channels like TV1, TV2, and TV3, as well as all Singapore channels. However, there were no Astro channels available. Location: The location wasn’t ideal for me. The nearest quality mall was Southkey Midvalley, while the local option was AEON Permas Jaya. Carpark: The car park was spacious and could accommodate both cars and motorbikes. However, it was quite dusty and would benefit from more frequent cleaning. Parking for motorbikes was free, which was a nice perk. 5-star hotel should have usb sockets on the wall

It was in fact the worse hotel I've ever stayed in Malaysia. Don't be fooled by the pictures they provided. I booked a deluxe family room and a deluxe queen room. Nothing to fancy about. As soon as we stepped into the ”deluxe family room”, the whole room including the toilet smells of moth balls!! Can you imagine going to sleep with that smell plus with 2 children (1 and 8 years old)?! It's DAMN stuffy!! First moth balls found below the sink cabinet probably to freshen up the smell of the flooring and another hung above on the ceiling probably to stop the strong urine/sewer smell. When we step on the parquet flooring of our room it was so sticky and the toilet floor was even worse! There were visible yellow patches on the floor that probably resembles as urine patches. TOILET FLOOR WAS WET AND GROSS THAT MY SISTER HAD TO CLEAN THE ENTIRE TOILET BEFORE USING IT. NOT FORGETTING THAT MY SISTER ALSO HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO CLEAN THE ROOM'S FLOORING TWICE CAUSE IT WAS TOO STICKY AND WHEN WE WALK BAREFOOTED ON IT! Below the cabinet's sink was already deteriorating and there were molds everywhere! Also not forgetting that our room doesn't comes with a window and yet its expensive!! If you're looking for a hotel for your family even for a night stay, this is not the best one for your family. I can say that with location, this is probably a hotel for **********s only. As you can't imagine until you've booked and slept in the room, our bedsheets aren't clean. There's blood stains on it and also blood stains on the bed side's wall. YES, GROSS! MY LITTLE GIRL EVEN ASKED WHAT'S THAT. We were obviously so disgusted that we didn't tuck our feet into the sheets. Shame on you guys for not doing a good job on proper housekeeping and maintaining the facilities in the rooms.

“Stayed here for a business trip, and it met all my needs. The room was clean, modern, and had a great desk setup, perfect for working. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, ideal for my virtual meetings. The location was excellent, close to key business areas and convenient for dining options nearby. Overall, a comfortable, efficient choice for business travelers.”

Location was closed to Mid Valley mall, we booked here for our weekends staycation. The check in process is fast and given room on 3rd floor #312 with window facing busy road. Unfortunately, the vehicle noise can be heard even window is fully closed. We can’t sleep too due to aircon not getting work with correct setting. Reception lady was very helpful in exchanging the room due to aircon not cooling after a moment of stay, it was free upgraded to family room on 2nd floor without window #217. We are both having a nice sleep and will visit again in the new future.

Miyabi Hotel always have good cleanliness and the rooms are always well furnished ☺️ One thing to note is that there isn't shower caps available and you need to request it from the reception, other than that, everything is perfect and highly recommended to stay here 😍

First of all, SPECIAL SHOUT OUT for the housekeeping lady who did the cleaning up for our room🏆🏆 We had already checked out and were waiting in the lobby for the Grab driver when the housekeeping lady rushed down and returned my daughter's earbuds!! Thank you for going the extra mile! Other things we loved about Kyoto Boutique: - nice classy decor and the wooden floor (I hate carpeted floors in hotel rooms cos it's hard to tell if it's clean) - the hot water heater for the shower works perfectly! - there is a water cooler at the floor lobby so we could get cold and hot water!! - there is a safe in the room - many coffeeshops and restaurants nearby. Also has a supermarket just downstairs. - excellent service But overall the hotel should probably do some renovations or fix some of the items in the room. - Some parts of the wallpaper were peeling off. - The tap was loose and had to be shut off in a particular direction or the water would keep flowing. - the switch to the toilet did not have a cover so we couldn't switch off the lights - the temperature of one of the aircons couldn't be adjusted so it blasted very cold air all night. Thankfully, the family suite had 2 aircons (cos the room was divided into 2 areas, each w a queen bed). So we turned on only one aircon.

No frills budget hotel, very affordable but has the basic necessities to get over a good night stay and sleep. Aircon , water heater functions well and wifi is pretty stable, which is a great plus for the hotel Surrounded with lots of good fnb establishments within walking distance and some of the foodstalls open till 2+am to fix your supper cravings. A few Massage parlors nearby and you can get to popular shopping mall like ksl within 10min drive ... Recommend for short stays...will be back

Need to drive there. Large resort with many rooms but not all occupied. Quite a few facilities but they obviously cannot handle if the occupancy rate is 50% or more. The ”water park” is a small playground, the pool there is quite dirty and obviously not cleaned for a long time. The other deeper pool was cleaner though. The retail shop was quite well stocked and not that expensive. Breakfast was mostly Asian food, good luck if u have food allergies. Seafood restaurant was not bad. The ”private beach” area is just a backdoor from the hotel, no demarcation, beach towels or beach chairs provided.

Had a very good staycation for 1 night here with my sister. Thank you to the team who arranged the cake and little decorations for my sister's birthday. Truly appreciated it 🙏. Check in& check out process was smooth. Breakfast was packed , luckily we did go around 8am. There are 2 things that disappointed us. 1)The bar at the lobby. We asked the staff if we could bring in outside food but we would like to order drinks from the bar. We know that outside food is not allowed but nothing wrong to ask. The staff informed us no but we saw there is a foreigner family who bought pizza hut sitting at the bar with family. 2) The smell of pillow cases and duvet. All 4 pillows and duvet had a sour smell that didn't fully dry. Overall was good , 7/10 👍

My second time staying at this property. Once again, they have never disappoint me and provide great service. The duty manager (I can’t recall his name but he is a mix blood, Philippines and Malay) remember us as the last we stay was end August. Room are spacious that can sleep 2A and 2C. Breakfast variety are good mixture. The only cons I would say it will be abit noisy in the late evening as the birds will be chirping loudly and if you stay at lower floor you can hear it. Also you will need a transportation to bring you to the hotel as it’s not at the desaru coast and if you drive there, do expect that your car will have birds poo, so you got to go for cleaning before you leave the property. The location wise is just right opposite local seafood/local cuisine, supermarket. You can drive further down for bakery shop and more food choices. Their room are clean and basic amenities like toiletries are there. They have daily hotel activities to entertain the kids and also daily shutter to bring you to the waterpark at desaru coast

A good hotel for family vacation. - A lot of activities for kids of different ages. - Live band every nights during our stay from 8pm. - Exclusive entrance to Water Park from the hotel. - Fast & convenient support services via WhatsApp 24/7👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 - 5mins walk distance via Westin Hotel to the beach

The place is really dim and “yellowish” in terms of their lightings. Staff are friendly and helpful. Serve a wide selections of breakfast buffet. Nice pool with slide , suitable for families with young children . Have provided feedback to their receptions on improving in their hot lightings . Kind of eerie at night with the lightings around the hotel facade too .

Pros ; Hotel provided guest parking in front of hotel. Clean and beautiful room but quite small for muslim to pray. Comfort bed and pillow. Got mini fridge in room. Ok bathroom with good rain shower. Good and tasty simple breakfast. All staffs were friendly and helpful. Appreciate it ! Cons ; The rate quite high for this hotel not provide iron and hairdyer in each room. Need to request. Only can watch TV3. Other channels were not clear. Please add more channels for guest entertainment.

Reasonable price, good location near the beach, all rooms are facing the seaview & friendly staff, breakfast spread is quite good for the price. The facility is quite rundown, lack of maintenance - plants & landscape need to upkeep, turf with litters, aircon is very noise because air filter is choked with dust. Other nearby areas of interest are closed, Ostrich farm & Adventures park. If hotel wants to keep customers coming, they really have to take it seriously to upkeep the whole facility.

Year end means holiday time for my little family. Arrived here quite early in the afternoon. Being promised that once the room is ready, the receptionist on duty will then give us a call, yet do assume that due to other urgent commitment and / or poor telecommunication coverage, it was no avail. (Disclaimer : my spouse got SMS informing that Maxis coverage will be temporarily affected at the current location, yet I never get one, although utilizing the very same provider) Just trying our luck to check in an hour early from prescribed time and viola! our room was readied accordingly. Room was adequately kept, small stains detected at the duvet, bidet sprayer malfunctioned. Not to be so fussy, we do embraced the imperfect condition accordingly. The room allocated to us in which purposely selected for sea view was nice. The hotel do situated not too far from other establishment. there is a residential area situated approximately 2km from the hotel, namely Taman Bayu Damai, in which do contained shophouses and basic necessity, if need do arise. Yet we did getting our daily doses of foods and other necessity down towards the south, in which nearer to Sungai Rengit. The foods readied at the hotel (in our case breakfast) were less then adequate in quality, but got nothing to complained about. Due to the time we have, we did embarked on sight seeing walkabout at the premises. Some of the attractions were abandoned, might be due to the ill effect of continuous MCO enforcement for the past 2 years. The beach was nice, but due to the timing of Monsoon, it will be not advisable to dwell into usual sea and beach activities too much. My two boys enjoyed their time playing with the sands, with much cautionary steps undertaken. Hopefully, as per my title of this review, time will heal this establishment, thus will be then enable them to offer their best package to prospectus guest.

The Resort is perfect for famalies gathering by the beach. The surrounding and environment was clean. The buggy service is a great idea for the guests to move around the resort. I was there for 3 nights and requested for room service on my 2nd night. Informed the reception that we will be out and they may make up the room. Unfortunately the towels and other necessities including mineral water was left at the table outside the room. The make up room was not done. Since we were tired and we did not get back to the housekeeping. The sink sewage was an issue with chocking. The toilet was smelly and we could not rectified the issue and only realise on our last night stay. Overall the stay was pleasant. The breakfast buffet can be improved.
