I extended my staying in Osaka after my company event and chose this hotel. The location is great if u want to go to the famous location such as Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi. Just if u take the express train to airport from Namba, it’s actually not that close as I expected. The room is small but because I m just going by myself, I m good with the size. The space can only allow u to open one luggage I think. Cleanliness is overall ok.

Cleanliness: don’t expect much, it’s an old hotel and the place looks clean enough until you look closely and you will notice mold and dust. But linens were always clean and towels were replaced even when you’re out for the day. Location: easy access to the subway, with convenience stores and underground retail shops nearby, and a quick walk to the Shinsaibashisuji area. Service: their best trait. Quick, efficient, friendly, excellent. You’ll just have to go to the front desk for most help since there is no phone in the room. Amenities: hotel wifi kept disconnecting during our weeklong stay and was barely useable. TV only has local channels. Limited toiletries on offer compared to hotels in adjacent areas and with similar room size. You can hear other people in the corridors and in their rooms. Restaurant is closed.

This hostel is a walking distance to many things. Near the Shin Imamiya station (west exit), Shensikai area where you can see traditional Japanese night life. Food and restaurants are just everywhere. Also the traditional sento in Shesikai is very near to this hostel. Its cleanliness is superb and the staff are very helpful. Would come back to stay here in my next Osaka trip.

Good location - few minutes to the station. Interesting neighbourhood with street food and shops is near, but it's not noisy at all. Nevertheless the room has excellent audibility. I heard a telephone chat of my neighbour, and drunk people making way to their room. The room itself is nice, but there are some stains in the shower and walls. The desk drawer was damaged and covered with vinyl film.

JA Hotel Shin-Fukae offered a satisfactory experience. Unlike most modern hotels, JA Hotel offered an actual key for the room instead of a keycard. The room was furnished with nothing beyond what was necessary for accomodations. The washroom was tiny and this was the first time in many years I had to operate a tap with two knobs: one for hot water and the other for cold. The sink shares the same water supply as the shower and there is a valve above the spiggot one uses to control which is supplied with water. Perhaps my experience was an outlier, but the room also seems to have quite thin walls as I spent one night listening to a Japanese couple flirting and another listening to a pair of Chinese men talking. Once again, perhaps my experience was abnormal, but the wifi also seemed relatively slow as I was only able to stream YouTube videos smoothly at 144p on one of the evenings I was there. As for the location, it seemed to me to be a rather quiet little area with little to do, but perhaps that was due to a dearth of prior research. There's a number of decent restaurants in the vicinity and the hotels proximity to Shin-Fukae Station is definitely one of its strong points. In addition, the staff were very friendly throughout my entire stay, making the overall experience satisfactory.

I would highly recommend this hotel, the location is perfect! Walkable distance to Dotonburi, Sinseikai and Sinsaibashi. All the walks are in within 10-15 mins, there are a lot of convenience stores around, really so convenient! The room is spacious and clean, it’s considered as one of the most spacious hotel I’ve stayed in Japan, even came with a microwave and cooking pan. Luton on market is just about 5 mins walk, you can get some steak there and bring back to cook if you want to. There are free coffee, water and ice dispenser 24 hours. Room is modern as well, come with a bathtub. I would book this place again when I’m back next time!

A short walk from Ebisucho station Exit 3. We can see Tsuntenkaku tower when heading towards the hotel, which was great! The room is not that small as i expected from other reviews. Comfortable for two people, considering its in Japan. Hotel has a lift, as well as Ebisucho station, so taking luggage with us was not difficult. The toilet room feels a bit old but okay. Bed was comfy. Overall recommended👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

This was the best stay we had throughout our 2 weeks trip to Japan! Initially I had the impression that the stay here will be very squeezy due the images shown during booking. Upon arriving at the lobby, we were early for the check in (supposedly 3pm) and staff informed they will allow early check in at 230pm instead of 3pm. The staff were all very attentive and had superb customer service. At around 220pm they suddenly allowed us to check in which the self check in process was so seamless, totally impressed firstly by allowing us to check in earlier, and the short process. Upon reaching our room, we were even more impressed! The room was spacious where i could open all 4 luggage at once. The view outside was cast upon the river. The feature by the door where we can place our winter jackets or clothes that could be reworn was so thoughtful. The only downside was the slightly smaller bathtub which we didn’t use. The table was slightly small for 2 pax as well. The hotel supports sustainability cleaning which allow us to choose the type or extent of room cleaning that we want which was great. Personally I totally loved the real time update of the laundry room of ALL the machines and time remained. It helped me reduced unnecessary trips to the laundry room to check on my laundry and when I want to do laundry, i’ll know whether there are available machine for use. Really appreciate this feature. Our only regret is not trying the breakfast. It looked so good and we would definitely come back for our next visit to Osaka and have their breakfast!

We reached the hotel about 1:30pm. And asking for keeping luggage the staff here very gentle taking care of us also giving very nice informations. The room is very nice and clean also comfortable. Good location. Easy to go to Hankyu line subway. And bus stops just right in front of the hotel to Nijo–Jo. In conclusion, I like this hotel.👍🥰
