Room cleaning service needs to be reviewed, breakfast seemed very limited, orange juice and fruit quickly ran out, you constantly have to ask for refills! Tables are not cleared to allow other people coming down to find clean tables! A blatant lack of staff!

The room is well-regulated, the traffic is quite convenient, the sea is super close, and there are local restaurants on the side. It is not very convenient to eat Chinese food. Need to call, or tram.

J’ai passé un excellent séjour à l’Hôtel Suisse à Alger. L’accueil a été remarquable dès mon arrivée, notamment grâce à la réceptionniste Célia, dont le professionnalisme et la gentillesse font toute la différence. Toujours souriante, attentive et disponible, elle a su répondre à toutes mes demandes avec efficacité et bienveillance. Grâce à elle, je me suis senti immédiatement à l’aise et parfaitement pris en charge. L’hôtel est confortable, propre et idéalement situé, mais c’est vraiment la qualité de l’accueil, en particulier celui de Célia, qui rend l’expérience exceptionnelle. Je recommande vivement cet établissement !

GGuest UserThe hotel is a bit old, for example the plaster is coming off the ceiling on the terrace. The management needs to be changed, nobody feels responsible. The housekeeping was very good, tried very hard (I even gave them an extra tip). The staff in the terrace cafe were rather unwilling. The breakfast is definitely not up to the standards of a 5* hotel, old rolls (at least from the day before), old toast, little choice, rather uncaring, but the staff were extremely friendly and tried very hard. The food in general is borderline (room service). At reception I was snapped at by a male employee when I asked a question, that was borderline. The view over Alger is great, however (make sure you book a sea view). The service in the bar on the E floor is also poor, the selection of drinks minimal. The wine is undrinkable. Acceptable for business trips, but I wouldn't spend a vacation in this hotel. Regarding Algeria in general, I would like to say that the people are extremely hospitable and polite, the food (outside) in the restaurants (except for once) is very good and inexpensive, taxis are very cheap, they are just not luxury cars (reminds me of the early days in Dubai in the 90s). A tip for a day trip at the end: Royal Mausoleum of Mauretania, the restaurant next to the mausoleum has wonderful seafood from the charcoal grill.

The only thing that is not perfect is the Chinese restaurant on the first floor. The Chinese food is delicious, and the Beijing soup is delicious. However, the steak and pasta we ordered did not have sauce. We asked the waiter to give us some sauce and took two This time it was very thin soup, I don't know what it is made of, anyway, it is completely different from what we ate before. The waiter may be unhappy, and told us to go to the kitchen to make it ourselves if we are not satisfied. This has reduced the restaurant a lot of points.

Restaurant food at Le Grand Bleu was of high quality, we experienced a lovely dinner service and we made sure to thank the head chef who was very friendly as well as the waiters.
The two young male waiters were super friendly and professional, lovely to see. Breakfast service was very good too.
Only thing about the hotel that would have been nicer is if the private bathroom had a bath tub in the Executive/Privilege with sea view and a cooler room during summer months. Still highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel lobby is spacious and bright, with an elegant and atmospheric decoration style. The front desk staff is enthusiastic. When checking in, they are quick and meticulous, patiently answering my various questions, and thoughtfully sending me a glass of iced lemonade, which instantly dispels the fatigue of the journey.
The room I stayed in was even more surprising. The room was spacious and well-planned, and every detail revealed the care. The soft and comfortable bed made me love it as soon as I lay on it, as if I was in the clouds, having a good night's sleep, and waking up refreshed. GGuest UserHad a wonderful day in this hotel very convenient for first time travelers as it has everything you need from taxi pick up and drop off from the airport. Good Internet connection, clean rooms and quiet. All amenities are available. The staff are very friendly and the customer service is on top. I will definitely stay again in this hotel if I come back to Algeria.

It’s located at a perfect place. Close to a square, stores and the metro. I recommend this hotel if you want a pleasant stay in Algiers in a nice and comfortable hotel.
