A very convenient hotel at the airport for an overnight stay. Check in was very easy & staff polite. I was able to leave my luggage in a locked room before check in which was very convenient. Room was clean with a complimentary bottle of water.
After having seen the hotel at the arrival from outside, I was first skeptical. I found no indication where the reception is to be found. I surrounded the hotel and entered the Foyer from behind.
But then I experienced a very friendly and helpful staff at the reception. Now a plus point. I left my baggage and announced my check-in for the late evening. That proved completely unproblematic.
In the night, the room was very positively equipped, but I had to notice a lack of maintenance of the equipment.
In general, I was satisfied with staying at the Axxon Hotel.
Super beautiful and sweet room. You have to hear a train rush in the night 2-3, but not really dramatic. The breakfast was almost empty and the coffee machine was not going, but it was possible to make it at the reception because they have a machine there. The lady behind the trees could check in as well as no German. We can't, however, english many certainly. If I book a hotel in DE, I would like a German-speaking person as a contact point for all cases. But € 100 for 2 people with breakfast and parking (10€) very good. Please return
Check in early, Trip Help the hotel agrees that everything goes well
Next to the hotel is the international company. There is a bus. It is convenient to travel. The environment is quiet.
The staff at the restaurant/at breakfast was unfortunately more concerned that the guest
- goes back in time (at the entry I was told I would come 10 minutes before breakfast end. I shouldn't just say later that I wouldn't have known)
- or not disturbed (my husband wanted lunch and there was no staff who took him. Therefore he placed himself on a unreserved table. The staff came and thought he was making everything wrong and couldn't sit there. Why and how he does it right, it was not just answered nicely. He may stay alone).
A third not so nice experience: At request of the business center deposited on Trip.com to work on the laptop, my husband should pay 100 euros for 1 day - it was probably confused with a meeting room. The front desk was told at the reception that he could also sit in a empty restaurant. When he wanted to do this in the morning, the restaurant staff ignored it.
Unfortunately, not such a nice stay for us.
Eating and accommodation super
Also the staff are always friendly to make a lot of effort.
However, the hotel is no longer up-to-date.
For 5 stars, some shortcomings are still to be corrected.
Nevertheless, we had a nice time and we liked to come back.
The service was in a effort at check-in, but because of poor German knowledge it was insufficient. It is very bad if you get a yes to a question as a answer, but it is not exactly the fact. Unfortunately, we did not receive any clarifying answer from the German staff on a further request.
And 35,- € or even 30,- € with discount are inappropriate for the evening buffet, as some foods have very poor quality.
The staff was very friendly and understanding and allowed free-of-charge late check-out. The room had a good heating/cooling system but no kettle. Very satisfied overall.
The forest hotel is located directly on/in the forest. Beautiful modern rooms, beds i.O. , mattresses very firm, therefore needs habitual. Bath/Douche flat and very modern.
A buffet for €25 is offered in the evening, which was also in order. Selection was abundant.
All in all, the forest hotel is recommendable.

KKwanGreat last minute booking, close to airport but best to arrange transfer from airport. Public transport is alright you can make it there but not the easiest with lots of luggage or bad weather. Check in and out was super simple and easy. Room and everything was great, no do not disturb sign tho so had to verbally tell staff in the morning not to come in. Again transport around is close and alright but not good in bad weather to walk.
GGKWA very convenient hotel at the airport for an overnight stay. Check in was very easy & staff polite. I was able to leave my luggage in a locked room before check in which was very convenient. Room was clean with a complimentary bottle of water.
GGuest UserThe hotel is very new and clean! I liked it much, located very near to BER airport. The breakfast is merged in the lobby, not so easy to find a seat in the busy time. But the breakfast choices are ok.
It’s to far to walk to the airport, but you may either use the public bus in front of the hotel, which is cheap and convenient or scan a code at the hotel registration and book for the hotel bus. Unfortunately, the public bus goes only once every hour.
TThomas SuzhouThis is new hotel, conveniently located very close to the central train station in Potsdam. Take the exit to Friedrich-Engels-Straße, turn right and you already see the new nice looking building about 300 m away on the other side of the street ”Lange Brücke” (long bridge). The reception and breakfast area is on the first floor (Erdgeschoss), well lighted with large windows. Everything looks new, nice and neat. (No worries, no smell at all from construction materials or new furniture, also not in the corridors or in my room). The standard room I booked is small with minimalistic furniture, but I like it simple anyway. The tiles in the bathroom are real cool and nice looking, so is the carpet and color arrangement in the floors.
The staff was friendly, but you need to be a bit patient, as several if them are new and still being trained on the software to check in. 😊
No doubt, next trip to Potsdam I will chose the same hotel.
LLucien P. FantkeFantastic location. Friendly service. Good breakfast. But: internet super slow if working at all. No flexibility in bike rental. Staff tried to be helpful but wasn’t very knowledgeable in certain areas. Free welcome apples were a nice touch. Room itself could have been cleaner. Broken outside window. Tv not properly working due to internet issues. Water wasn’t refilled. Had to ask for refill during our 3 day stay (even we booked the luxury suite) especially on a Sunday when all shops are closed that isn’t very cool. Staff was very friendly about it but I would prefer service that doesn’t wait for me to ask for things.
Ppeace.joy.hope.love.faith.eatsJust right outside airport. Great location to catch a flight from. Breakfast is basic. Quick machine self check in on my own. There was super long queue waiting for the counter. Big room and ample space for one. Bathroom has a glass panel where you can look in from the room, which is weird. Not that it matters for a solo traveller. I am disappointed that my double bed room is actually two single beds pushed together side by side (see photo). Was happy until I laid down and discovered the divide.

JJliairenaoThe self-service check-in was confusing, mainly because Ctrip did not send the check-in code. Fortunately, the remedy was timely and I did not have to wait too long. It was still a distance from the airport, which was somewhat inconvenient to catch the plane. The room was not big, but it was well-equipped. The three beds were clearly arranged. It was also a good experience.
GGuest UserGood location, clean and tidy room, although not large, but very warm configuration, electric kettle, USB charging port, breakfast included, good quality breakfast, elevator card required. Stayed for three nights, on the third day put up the cleaning sign, but still did not come to clean
