Will I book this hotel again. Definitely NOT. The room is the most ordinary ***/**** star hotel room with any sign of luxury. Just Traveloge or Premier Inn on steroids. Ordinary bathroom (yes, in marble but like typical bathroom) with bath tube, but without any elegance. Simply bath against the wall, with corner shower. Big bed, with pretty hard matress. Good: wireless charger. A few information channels in English. And extremely expensive breakfast for about 400 yuan - which is simply rip of in China. ** No, ever gain.

The first two photos show the front desk at Studio City, while the third is The Parisian's. Studio City gets so many rave reviews that my check-in alone involved an hour and a half of queuing. And after finally checking in, I had to queue *again* just to pick up my key card. It feels like they've grown complacent from all the glowing feedback, which is truly frustrating. Hotels like The Parisian and The Venetian allow direct check-in at the front desk. From now on, I won't just write glowing reviews; I'll share my honest feedback, both good and bad. It's just too much. Furthermore, Studio City no longer provides bottled mineral water. They've switched to reusable glass bottles without any expiration date, which honestly, I'm apprehensive about drinking. I strongly recommend Studio City replace these reusable bottles, especially given the lack of dates! Additionally, I suggest Studio City revert to their old tote bag design; it was much nicer. The new cartoon-themed tote bags are pretty useless and don't even feature the Studio City logo. Without the logo, I really don't want to carry their tote bag – it looks quite tacky. I recommend booking your stay at The Parisian instead; check-in is quick, there are no queues, and you don't have to queue twice just to get your key card. Studio City's process is truly baffling; it's almost as if they enjoy seeing long lines, perhaps for some strange marketing effect. Honestly, I don't recommend writing overly positive reviews on platforms like Ctrip, Qunar, Tongcheng, Baidu, or Dianping. The more glowing reviews you write, the more expensive Macau hotels become. I remember The Venetian and The Parisian used to cost only between 300-500 MOP, and they'd even include two free tickets to the Parisian Eiffel Tower and breakfast. Studio City even offered two free tickets for its Golden Reel Ferris wheel. Now, with all the positive reviews, prices have skyrocketed. Macau hotels seem to think that with so much praise, visitors are guaranteed to come, so they keep hiking up room rates and attraction ticket prices. For instance, the Parisian Eiffel Tower used to be free for children under 1.4m, but now everyone pays full price. So, let's stop with the excessive praise and write more honest reviews. Let's leave some room for ourselves, others, and future travelers. Otherwise, these Macau hotels' prices will go through the roof! If Macau hotel prices become more reasonable and promotions return, more travelers will book through platforms like Ctrip and Qunar, won't they? This is just my personal advice, and I'm not open to arguments. Thank you. P.S. When staying at The Parisian, access to the 7th floor of the Eiffel Tower is standard and free for all guests, not a special complimentary offer. Also, Studio City's Golden Reel Ferris wheel only reopens on October 1st because it's undergoing maintenance. I went all the way there for nothing and couldn't ride it...

The location is quite good, not as remote as some online reviews might suggest. I noticed the two cabinets that some had mentioned as being a bit odd. The one containing the mini-fridge was perfectly fine, but the middle cabinet seemed quite unnecessary, especially since the room was spacious enough and had plenty of space for clothes. The staff service was also very good. My only minor gripe is that each floor has around 100 very similar-looking rooms, and the extensive layout makes it quite easy to get lost. Overall, it's mostly a positive experience. The only real downside was that the swimming pool was undergoing maintenance during my visit, which meant having to take a rather inconvenient and long detour. They could have made the temporary barriers smaller; otherwise, it was genuinely inconvenient to walk around in a swimsuit just to change or use the restroom. It would also be great if the pool could stay open until 10 PM (22:00), as 8 PM (20:00) feels a bit too early to close.

Good service, good environment, all sightseeing spot in walking distance. I love the infinity pool, not too big but enough. We can spend a morning in hotel and then slow walk around. Hotel just above Lafayette Galleries, so you can shopping even in bad weather. B1 have a big super market, very convenient. Wine is on promotion ^^. Fireworks Festival is coming, remember to book a room tourist tower view.

Although the location is a bit out of the way, the facilities are quite new. After clearing immigration, it's only a few minutes' walk from the Grand Lisboa Hotel. The downstairs mall has limited dining options and low foot traffic, making it a good choice if you prefer a quieter environment. We booked a suite, which was quite spacious and had a comfortable bed. However, the amenities were disappointing. For a suite, they only provided two sets of toothbrushes and toothpaste, and two pairs of slippers. There were no amenities for children, which I hope they can improve.

The hotel is a swift 7-8 minute taxi ride from Hengqin Port, costing 60 MOP (I later remembered there's a direct hotel shuttle, but I'd forgotten at the time!). It's conveniently located in the same building as The Londoner. From the moment we pulled up with our luggage, the doorman was incredibly attentive and enthusiastic, promptly assisting us and maintaining that exceptional level of warmth all the way through check-in. I truly felt their service was outstanding. While the rooms might be a bit dated, they are impeccably maintained and offer fantastic value for money, especially when compared to The Londoner. The casino and an extensive shopping complex are just downstairs. It's definitely a highly recommended stay. It was my son's 12th birthday on our check-in day, and he had flown independently from Singapore. I had informed the hotel in advance, and they thoughtfully surprised him with a cake and warm birthday wishes, which we deeply appreciated. My only minor complaint is that the business center charges 80 MOP per hour for computer use, and the operating system was in English. Thankfully, I was still able to navigate it.

I stayed for 6 consecutive days. The breakfast was excellent, offering 3 types of eggs and 5 kinds of noodles, with orders placed conveniently by scanning a QR code. Downstairs, I enjoyed the Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai style crab porridge and some lively street food BBQ, both really tasty. San Miu Supermarket offered great value for money. There's also a Feng Supermarket downstairs where their Oden included freshly cooked boiled cabbage for 5 AUD – absolutely delicious! At the nearest fruit and vegetable store downstairs, durian was 19.9 MOP per jin; I bought a delicious one for 98 MOP. You really should trust the staff there; he's excellent at picking them. The hotel is conveniently located just a few minutes' walk from Grand Lisboa, Wynn Macau, and MGM Macau.

Booking through Ctrip made my trip completely worry-free. I have to commend their exceptional after-sales service; they go above and beyond to resolve any issues and genuinely express deep apologies. I truly felt that their customer service team treats every guest who books with Ctrip with utmost sincerity. ❤️👍 My heartfelt thanks! ❤️ As for the room: The room was fantastic. It was spacious, bright, and exactly as described on Ctrip. We even had dedicated staff to open doors for us when coming and going, which was a nice touch. Overall, I was very satisfied.

Recently stayed at Golden Dragon Hotel in Macau and had a pleasant experience overall. The hotel is conveniently located near the Macau Ferry Terminal, making it an excellent choice for travelers arriving by ferry. It’s also within walking distance to some local attractions and casinos, which adds to the convenience. The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained. It offers comfort and functionality. The bed was cozy, and amenities like the mini-fridge, toiletries, and fast Wi-Fi made the stay comfortable. The staff were polite and efficient. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and any requests were handled promptly. The hotel also has a few on-site restaurants, offering a good variety of Chinese and international dishes. I particularly appreciated the breakfast buffet decent variety and fresh options.

While the main hotel building shows its age, the resort section truly feels like a secluded paradise, with its distinctive Portuguese architectural style. The lobby and the restaurant on the second floor are also quite beautiful. The guest rooms, unfortunately, fell short of my expectations. They were of an average size, and the furnishings and amenities looked rather cheap. The bathroom amenities were also pretty basic. The breakfast was excellent, especially the made-to-order egg station and the bread selection. You could tell a lot of care and effort went into it. The front desk staff were very efficient during both check-in and check-out. However, the room cleaning service was a little mediocre.

Aakanemaomao## A Must-Stay L'Occitane Themed Hotel! I recently experienced The L'Occitane Hotel at Grand Lisboa Palace Macau, and the overall experience far exceeded my expectations! 📍**Location & Transportation** While it's not in the city's core, getting around is a breeze. After taking a car to Grand Lisboa Palace, a 3-5 minute walk through the indoor, fully air-conditioned 'Macau Palace' walkway takes you directly to the hotel – no sun exposure at all! There's also a free shuttle bus right outside that goes straight to Wynn Palace, making exploring Cotai hassle-free. 🍳**Breakfast** The hotel breakfast is average. I'd recommend trying the options at the nearby Grand Lisboa Palace instead: - 'The Tea House' opens at 10 AM, serving authentic Cantonese dim sum. - 'The Buffet' offers excellent value for money with its breakfast deals. Inside The Macau Palace, you'll also find various noodle stalls and food stands, offering more down-to-earth local choices. 🌟**Highlights** 1️⃣ A full set of L'Occitane amenities! The shower gel and body lotion are of high quality, and you can even call the front desk for another complimentary set. 2️⃣ Excellent soundproofing ensures a quiet room, perfect for a good night's sleep. 3️⃣ Don't miss these spots downstairs: ☕️Momokawa Coffee – A hidden gem for specialty coffee in Macau, perfect for a morning pick-me-up. 🍦Cotiz Double Skin Milk Ice Cream – Rich milky flavor and silky smooth texture. Highly, highly recommend! 💡**Summary** With its convenient transportation, immersive L'Occitane experience, and great surrounding dining options, this is a unique hotel in Macau offering excellent value for money. Just remember to plan your breakfast choices in advance and make good use of the free transportation to easily explore Cotai.

GGuest UserIt was my first time staying with a Londoner and celebrating my mum’s birthday. Thank you, William, for upgrading our room and preparing the birthday cake—my mum was so surprised and thrilled! We especially loved the extra ticket to the Parisian tower, which allowed us to enjoy the beautiful view of Cotai. We will definitely return!

MMaguagebixingqiuThe location is excellent. Right downstairs, you'll find a dessert shop (Yangzhi Jinlao) and a spicy noodle shop (Suan La Fen). Dino and Xilian Cafe are about a 20-30 minute walk away, but there's a direct bus route available. The hotel entrance isn't grand, but it's easy to spot. Check-in is on the 4th floor. Upon entering the ground floor, there was a noticeable chemical smell, possibly formaldehyde, which might be due to ongoing renovations nearby. **Environment:** The ambiance was quite good. I forgot to take photos of the room, but it seemed decent overall. I did take pictures of the check-in lobby, which looked clean and tidy. **Service:** Service was good. If you needed anything, a call to the front desk would have housekeeping promptly deliver items to your room. However, takeout deliveries had to be picked up from the ground floor as delivery to rooms wasn't possible; card access is required for floors above the 4th. **Cleanliness:** For those who are particular about cleanliness, it might fall a bit short. The bathroom had visibly yellowing corners and edges, indicating it wasn't as clean as expected. This was quite disappointing, especially since I chose this hotel because it was advertised as a new establishment in 2024. **Facilities:** Most facilities were fine. The main issue was the hot water: it took a while to come on, and when it did, it was extremely hot. Adjusting it was very tricky; even with significant adjustments, it would fluctuate wildly between scalding hot and freezing cold throughout the shower. Another point was the toilet. While not a smart toilet, which isn't a major concern, the flushing sound was incredibly loud – loud enough to wake someone up. Overall, the experience was still positive. The hotel offers luggage storage, can help arrange taxis, and the service was very prompt. One final note: while the room photos (like the last one) showed bathrobes, there weren't any in my room. I specifically inquired at the front desk and was informed they don't provide them. 🙂

GGuest UserThe hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the Border Gate. The lady at the front desk was incredibly friendly and helpful. Do note that a MOP 500 cash-only deposit is required for check-in. The cleanliness was truly outstanding; I even wiped down surfaces with a wet tissue right after checking in and was amazed to find not a single speck of dust! Huge thumbs up for that! It's definitely a great value-for-money choice for a trip to Macau.

GGuest UserEverything was as described and was good if not excellent, especially I like the balcony. The one thing that I'd like to have a few words on was the showering facilities. The hotel choose a very environmental friendly set of shower head that bundled the amount of water output with the temperature of water, meaning that if you want to have normal hot shower with water at 30 something degree celsius, the power of water output is weak or else you would have to tolerate the crazily heat of the water for some stronger water output from the shower. I mean, it's a very clever way to limit the use of water and hence the cost of the hotel in paying for the water supply. Nice~~!!!

LLuxy88It was a disappointing experience at W Macau. I booked the Spectacular Room for 2 nights which should be 51sqm-59sqm in size. However, the first room they gave me was a small Wonderful room around 37 sqm I knew instantly they gave me the wrong room so I called the front desk to have it changed to the Spectacular room. The second room they gave me was slightly bigger with a view of Cotai strip. It still felt a bit smaller than their official size of 51sqm-59sqm but I trusted the staff would assign the correct room so I didn’t ask again. During the stay the room felt really crammed because every time I walk to the bed I would hit the furniture as there is a large table and lounge chair placed next to the bed. I couldn’t shake the feeling that the room was smaller than advertised. At checkout I thought I would ask the staff the type of room I had in which he confirmed that it was the Wonderful room. I was really shocked and felt deceived since I already asked for the Spectacular room and they still gave me the wrong room again! Also the pillow had this strange smell that didn’t go away even after they changed the sheets and pillow case. The tap water had this weird sewerage smell and taste from the pipes and was there the whole time. The bath robes had this sweaty smell like it’s not been washed or changed for a long time. It was really disappointing given it’s a 5 star hotel. I’ve stayed at many 5 star hotels in Macau and never had these issues. W hotel please improve the cleanliness of your rooms like pillows and bath robes. I don’t appreciate being deceived about the rooms. If you don’t have the bigger Spectacular room just tell me don’t need to hide it. I didn’t end up sleeping well because the whole time I was wondering why the room was so small compared to what I booked. The manager Hilda did offer me an upgrade for my next stay at the hotel but I saw other customer reviews and they always give upgrades for free. I didn’t expect an upgrade but just give me the room I booked and don’t deceive me.
