GGuest UserStayed 1 night late August. 24kms and ¥40 taxi ride from ZhongweiNan fast train station. The area used to be a farm on a bend of the Yellow River. There are numerous accommodation areas, all looking similar. Apparently, one person owns all, and rents out clusters to various entities. Ours had a restaurant, but it wasn't open. For dinner and included breakfast, we went to the first restaurant on the right as you enter through the security gate from the carpark. Peaceful part of the world. Facility had a nice little pool, but water was too cold. Too dangerous to swim in the river. As you face the river, we walked right to a glamping area and had a cold beer. There is a petting zoo type deal on the way. To the left, you eventually climb up to a mini version of the great wall. Keep walking, for a side track to the river, or up to a little pavilion after crossing a road. + points, well set up, peaceful and secure. - points, zero English and most frustrating experience I've had in China even with apps both ways. We all travel with a price to quality/experience ratio. In this instance, far too high, and I wouldn't be back or recommend this place

Llittlebaby108Hotel: Located in the Shapotou Scenic Area in Zhongwei, in the heart of the Tengger Desert, surrounded by sand hills, it is truly far away from the city and the hustle and bustle. We were also upgraded to the Diamond Hotel for free on this trip, which was really great! There is hot water and electricity, as well as two restaurants. The room is fully equipped, with a full set of L'Occitane toiletries, a free Mini Bar, and you can see endless sand dunes when you open the curtains. It also snowed, just like being in outer space, so dreamy! Zhongwei is simply a treasure travel destination that is seriously underestimated. There is the grandeur of the desert smoke and the romance of the Jiangnan area on the frontier. More importantly, you can see the stars in the sky, which is really amazing! The service at the Star Hotel is also very good, recommended!

GGuest UserI chose the Yellow River Courtyard with my children because I saw on the Internet that Shapotou has been too hot recently. The Feihuang Tengda project has to queue for about 3 hours. I am a little worried that this project has been played, and other projects can’t be played, so I decided to arrive at the scenic spot one day in advance. Satisfied, the small courtyard environment: beautiful, Wooden structure, retro Zen, and the staff are enthusiastic; the quality of the dishes in the Yellow River restaurant in the same small courtyard is also very good, clean and delicious 😋

GGuest UserThe service staff in the cave house we chose for our trip were very polite. The cave house is on the second floor and the service staff will help carry boxes when going up and downstairs. The hotel's breakfast is very rich and the environment is very good. It is worth recommending. The details of the hotel are also very good. Drinking water with a suitable temperature will be prepared by the guests. It is also very convenient to call a taxi from Gulou when traveling.

GGuest UserDon't be too great! ! The most comfortable youth travel I have stayed in, I have set the suite. Super clean and tidy, that is, the boss is exposed! Completely in line, the price is not high, especially comfortable, you must boast the boss! Too enthusiastic, have the feeling of going home. TTim in ChinaThe hotel is located in a tourist area but most stores/restaurants are closed. However there are a couple open places and the staff was helpful finding them. The room was large and clean, especially the shower was very nice. The biggest issue I had with this hotel is that only one of windows had proper curtains, the other was very bright at night since the hotel lights are just outside. The last picture was taken at 2am so just bring an eye mask if you plan to stay here. Overall the hotel was fine and priced well for its proximity to the Shapotou tourist attraction.

MMaoxiaotaoWe booked a Happy Parent-Child Room, which comes with a small slide. It’s actually nothing special except that the kids love to play with the slide when they are young. The front desk staff who checked us in on April 29 was very nice! Thank you so much! Room hygiene really needs to be improved! Especially the floor hygiene. After the child came down the slide twice, his feet were black and shiny!

GGuest UserThis hotel is the best hotel I have ever stayed in this trip. The environment is in the Tengger Desert. You have to take a taxi to the Zuoqi East Lake Scenic Area first, and then the store will drive an off-road vehicle to take you to their camp. Not far from the road, there is a big goose and a small cat. Wherever you go, the goose will follow, but its call is a bit loud. At night, you can see the stars in the sky! 🏠 Facilities I went to live in the desert tent in mid-to-late October. The temperature was a bit low at night. The face was still cold after plugging in the electric blanket. It is recommended to go before mid-October. It will not be very cold. There are two choices of tents and rooms. The price of the room will be more expensive, but it will not be so cold. The service boss is super good. I will introduce me to eat and play, there is a bonfire party and fireworks in the evening, and I have met some friends here. In short, it is an unforgettable memory, a desert trip for one person!
