Zhangye Hotels with Gym

A fantastic hotel. I usually don’t like staying in big hotels as they tend to be soulless, but this one was really special. From the fresh cucumber face mask to the hot soak for your feet, they are incredibly thoughtful and kind. The service is fantastic. They were really helpful to us as foreigners, highly recommend!

A very cost-effective hotel. The room comes with a large soaking pool. There are unlimited hot springs in the shower and pool. The natural hot spring water relieves the fatigue of travel! It’s also more convenient to eat around. Recommended

We stayed 4 nights at the Runhu Hotel while we visited all the tourist attractions around Zhangye, including trips to the Gobi desert, Ping Shan Hu (Grand Canyon), the Alien Valley and other sites. The hotel - which is clean, spacious and quiet - has motivated employees who are happy to meet any request. The restaurant is actually very good with reasonable prices the buffet breakfast also was varied and of very good quality. The hotel also provides such services as nightly warm milk deliver and a foot soaking tub with epsom salts with no extra charge. The hotel also referred us to a driver with his own very nice and well kept car. He, Mr. Li, went way above and beyond what anyone could expect. He provided snacks, fruits, water and some sort of local soft drink and arranged tickets in advance where reservations were required and made sure to adapt those reservations when the weather closed one of the sites. His recommendations for local food at or near the various sites were also spot on. While the places were simple (and very inexpensive), the food was honest and good. You can bank on Mr. Li to make sure everything goes along smoothly. All you have to do is tell him what you want to see, or ask him for recommendations, and he will do the rest. In short, splendid hotel for the price with terrific service and if you need a driver, Mr. Li is your guy!

Facilities: relatively new, very comfortable to use, WIFI speed is a bit slow, the shower water is very big and very good. Our experience in this hotel was perfect ! They upgraded us for free, our room was really clean, spacious and really comfortable. The staff is really friendly and accommodating, and even if they don’t speak english we could discuss on WeChat. Finally, the hotel is located really close to old town and to the temple. There is a bus in front of it to go to both train stations. Definitely recommend to stay here during your trip in Zhangye !

The location of the hotel is easy to find. You can see it at a glance when you drive to the intersection. There is a parking space at the door. The security personnel will take the initiative to come over to direct and help with the luggage. The receptionist who checked in was also very nice. When we got to the room, the luggage had been delivered to the door. The restaurant on the third floor tastes very good, and the breakfast is also great with a lot of dishes. When we left our bag in the restaurant, the front desk helped us find it back, which was great! I will stay at this hotel again next time I come to Zhangye!

Very warm, thoughtful service, the security uncle is very good, I am a newcomer, the reverse car is really not good at the warehouse, and then the security uncle is very patient to direct the parking for me, I feel that I really have to practice, the hotel pillow is the most comfortable one to sleep in these days (buckwheat skin), The front desk lady also recommended Zhangye's very hot Starlight Night Market to us. In a park called Runquan Lake, the sunset in the afternoon, the crowd mode of the night market is really perfect.

It was a very good hotel experience. The lady at the front desk was also very polite. I asked for a room with a sunbath because the weather in Zhangye has been really unstable these days. Fortunately, the hotel facilities and equipment are very nice. I like it. 👍! There are many places to eat around. It seems that this is a new area. The flow of people is not as large as that in the old city, but it still feels like there are quite a lot of people. It is also very close to the high-speed rail station. It really solves the problem of ”missing the train” in many cases. It must be praised. !

Positive: Overall, the hotel is good. The room is spacious, and the staff is attentive and friendly. We had some issues with the room's electrical system, and they resolved it quickly. Additionally, they offered us a fruit tray for the inconvenience. The room and sheets are clean. The WiFi works perfectly. Negative: It is a bit far from the center. We booked a non-smoking room, but the room smelled of cigarettes. There is no gym and laundry service, unlike what is advertised in the available services on Trip.com. Guests smoke in common areas like the entrance hall, elevator, and hallways.
