In the thousand-year-old Nuodeng Ancient Village, what you see is not always what you get. What you can see with your eyes is a scenery, but what you can feel with your eyes closed is many, many reveries. Staying at Suxin Ruoshui added more fun to our journey, with a small independent yard and a casual coffee in the mountains. In the evening, I ordered a pot of steam-pot chicken with my family and a plate of seasonal matsutake sashimi, which was delicious. Get up early in the morning, order a latte, and enjoy the fresh mountain air and tranquility, which is also particularly sweet. In fact, when I came back, I really missed my cup of latte in the morning.

The guest room is clean and tidy, and the landlady provides enthusiastic service. I have stayed here for 3 consecutive days. Porcini mushrooms, ham, and chicken soup are very delicious. I will stay here again in the future.

As we had no plan, we made a last-minute trip from Baoshan to Nuodeng. We read the reviews and booked a room temporarily. It was right after the Spring Festival holiday. The price was 149, which was quite cost-effective. We arrived after dark. We climbed up the hill with our kids and bags. We couldn't see the signs and the navigation was wrong. We took the wrong road. Fortunately, the villagers were very enthusiastic and helped to contact the boss to pick us up. They cooked hot meals for us and we ate in the main room. It really felt like home. Before leaving the next day, my brother took us to visit the family museum. They were a very friendly family. Other rooms had better window views and you could see the ancient village.

Choosing Nuodeng for this Yunnan trip was a truly wise decision. Although the mountainous roads were challenging, the moment we arrived at the Nuodeng Ancient Well and saw the mountain, our hearts leaped with joy. The B&B, from the overall design to the furnishings and everything else, is exquisitely appointed, demonstrating the owner's high taste and aesthetic sense. The refrigerator was stocked with complimentary drinks and snacks, even including Sam's Club cookies! The host, Ms. Huang, was incredibly attentive. When we went downstairs to eat, the melodious sound of Vivaldi's ”The Four Seasons” (a favorite of mine) filled the dining room. The combination of delicious food and music filled us with a sense of joy. The breakfast was delicious, with a rich and nutritious variety, and even the daily presentation of the dishes reflected the owner's aesthetic sense. The owner truly puts so much effort into something meaningful! In just three days and two nights, we relaxed like we were in our own home. Every day, we gazed at the verdant mountains and the ever-changing clouds, climbed the many steps to see the Jade Emperor Pavilion and the salt well, learned about Nuodeng's history, and experienced the simple customs of its people. We even happened to witness the Bai ethnic group's Torch Festival. It was truly a wonderful and unforgettable trip. The driver and mule who helped us pull our luggage up the mountain were also very lovely. The driver introduced us to the sights along the way. Nuodeng's ham is certainly well-deserved. Nuodeng has so much to offer, and we are grateful to Ms. Huang and her family for the warmth they brought to our journey.

The bed is soft and comfortable. Value for money: The price/performance ratio is very high and the accommodation conditions are very good. Environment: The environment is comfortable. I especially like this yard. I will choose to stay here again next time I come, and will recommend it to my friends!

This small B&B in Xitingyuan has a small yard and is beautiful and pleasant. The courtyard has stone paths, swings, flowers and plants, a small terrace and Chinese-style buildings, and even a sunken area with a stove. The living environment is very good. There is a puppy and two kittens here. They are both docile and cute. The room is very unique. We lived on the second floor. We went up the stairs and entered. There are small square windows and exquisite wood-carved windows that can be seen in the distance. You can look up at the wooden roof and ceiling. The interior of the room is very clean. In addition, there are public restrooms and activity areas, which are very convenient. The B&B is located on a mountain. It may take a little effort to climb up, but you can pass through many old alleys along the way. The residential buildings are very distinctive and you can have a panoramic view of the distant scenery. There are many special attractions and delicious restaurants around the B&B. The bosses are a young multinational couple who are very friendly, gentle, and enthusiastic, and take great care of their guests. The night before we left, we also enjoyed making tea by the fire and chatting for a long time. We would also like to express our special thanks to them for their hospitality to us.

I stayed overnight in Nuodeng and chose this guesthouse. It's located halfway up the mountain in Nuodeng. From the parking lot, you walk up a very steep flight of stairs, which lead up to the Jade Emperor Pavilion at the top. Facilities: The B&B is very nice. The window of my room overlooked a lush bamboo forest, which was very relaxing. It was during the meteor shower, and I thought I couldn't see any due to the thick clouds. But after falling asleep, I was greeted by a starry sky, and I ran to the balcony to fulfill my wish. Service: The owner, his family, and the housekeeper were all very welcoming, and there was even a cute cat. My only regret was that a family with children stayed there during the summer, which made things a bit noisy. I'd like to stay a few more days here next time I visit Nuodeng.

I was very surprised to live in such an excellent B&B in the village. The location and view are great. The owner and his wife are also from Shenzhen. I like the decoration style. The people are very nice. The sanitary conditions are first-rate. The bathrooms are all electric and the bathtub is equipped with disposable bags and Bath medicine package, quality can be seen in the details, highly recommended, will stay here next time

I found this highly rated inn on Ctrip and booked it with the intention of giving it a try. It was really surprising to find such an elegant inn in Nuodeng Ancient Village, Yunlong County, Dali, a relatively niche tourist destination. The owner of the inn, Xiao Huang, is a very careful and gentle girl. She speaks in an organized manner and is not impatient. I didn’t know how to get to the inn with my heavy luggage. When I called her, she patiently told me how to download a Yunnan travel reservation. In carpooling, he explained clearly how to get the puller to pick me up and carry my luggage to the inn. Especially after arriving, she turned on the air conditioner in the room in advance to cool down and relieve her fatigue. The room is also clean, refreshing, and a bit artistic. After eating delicious ham and egg fried rice, we walked around and took a good nap until eight in the morning. The village is very quiet at night, except for the occasional meowing of cats.

Returning to Guangdong from Deqin Motorcycle Tour, I didn’t have the chance to see the Rizhao Jinshan Mountain in Meili this time☹️. With some regrets, I navigated to Nuodeng and chose the highly rated Hemerocallis Lodge. The overall accommodation experience was very good. This was my motorcycle trip. The most restful night of sleep😀. Before I left, I happened to see swallows flying between the eaves of the small courtyard. It turned out that the little ones chose to build their nests on the wooden beams of the small courtyard. Haha, I was lucky to have this small courtyard. There were swallows. Come, good omen✌! Well, I can sort out the regrets caused by Meili’s clouds😄. When writing this review, I should also plan when to come to Hemerocallis House to see the Yanzi family and add some blessings😎.
