This is in itself a nice place with nice houses and a cute village. However, the place is overcrowded with selfying tourists. The little shops sell things you don’t need for prices you wouldn’t pay anywhere else. There is a nasty smell. Close by is the Kinrin Lake. A must if you have never seen a small lake before, otherwise best skipped.

The village is rather small and narrow filled with shops selling various themed merchandise from Studio Ghibli, Peter Rabbit, Curious George and others. There’s also a paid owls enclosure which we skipped as its quite pricey. Come for the experience but be prepared to squeeze with the hordes of tourists. Merchandise were rather expensive and can also be found elsewhere.

The Yufuin Floral village was an attraction with cute shops resembling the Cotswolds in England. I was in the real Cotswolds Villages this year in March. Obviously, this was nowhere close.
