Pet friendly Hotels York

We had the over 15 rooms booked for a wedding and were told we would have a shuttle service provided for the guests. The shuttle was a minivan that was supposed to run from 3pm-130am. The shuttle didn’t start until 4:00, the wedding started at 4:00!! The shuttle refused to pick anyone up after midnight to give them a ride back to the hotel when we were told they would run until 1:30am. The hotel is under renovation and the noise and paint smells were horrible! The noise did stop at 6pm but the paint smell was terrible! The restaurant refused to let some guests in claiming they were over capacity but actually it was because they didn’t have enough staff. One of them was the BRIDE!! Not happy! Several rooms didn’t have any hot water or other things that didn’t work. The pillows were terrible! Very small and flat. Housekeeping was standing outside our door from 1030-1100 waiting for us to leave, and hounding us every time we walked out of the room. Check out time was 1100, we were out of our room at 11:55. Do not use this hotel for any wedding or group travel!! I will never stay there again or recommend this place to anyone!

*DON’T STAY HERE* they have extra charges for everything & they don’t make exceptions for anything. I had reservation for 5/19/23 & had car trouble. I called the Inn and told them I had car trouble would be checking in late. I called the Inn a 2nd time and asked them if they would move my reservation from 5/19/23 to 5/20/23 do to my car trouble. I was going to my daughter’s wedding on fixed income, middle of messy divorce. The Inn stated it was up to the 3rd party I went through Hopper. Hopper ‘s terms state it is up to hotel any changes to reservations. Hopper tried to get the Inn make the changes or give me a refund and they refused. All the Inn would say is it is the 3rd parties rules.
