Staying at the Mercure Hotel Dongguan Street for my trip to Yangzhou, my overall experience far exceeded my expectations! The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Dongguan Street, making it super convenient to go out for food and sightseeing. We originally booked a king room, but the front desk staff, seeing we had a baby with us, thoughtfully upgraded us to a family king room free of charge – what a pleasant surprise! The room came with a super large 2.2-meter bed, spacious, and the bedding was clean and comfortable. The family room details were incredibly well thought out; all furniture corners had anti-collision guards, the room decor was also very suitable for children, and the cleanliness was impeccable. Our baby could safely play on the bed, giving us a complete sense of security while traveling with a child. The staff were warm and attentive, and they even offered comforting wontons as a late-night snack. They were delicious and savory, a perfect treat after a day of sightseeing. Both the hardware environment and the humanistic service are outstanding. I highly recommend this hotel for families visiting Yangzhou with children!

The overall experience was impeccable! The hotel is conveniently located, making it easy to visit Slender West Lake and the Grand Canal Museum. The front desk staff were warm and efficient, and the cleaning staff were diligent and responsible; the service throughout my stay was excellent. The room facilities were complete, with all the necessary amenities for showering and relaxation, and the mattress was very comfortable, helping to ease the fatigue from sightseeing. The facilities were well-maintained, with no signs of age or damage. The environment was clean and pleasant, and I would definitely prioritize booking here again on my next visit to Yangzhou.

During the summer, Shanghai was packed with tourists, so we decided to leave it to them and wreak some havoc in Yangzhou instead. Our family of four stayed in three different hotels, and this one was by far the best. The service was top-notch. We stayed in a family villa suite with a private hot spring tub where we could adjust the temperature as we pleased – the best part was not having to share it with anyone else! The hotel also has a cute pet park with friendly alpacas and other small animals that you can interact with and feed. The butler for Villa 16 even decorated the tub when he filled it for us, and Sister Luobo was always responsive and answered all our questions promptly. The experience was truly excellent!

This hotel is a true hidden gem that left a lasting impression! The逸扉酒店 (Yifang Hotel) by Grand Canal Museum, Yangzhou, boasts an excellent location right next to the Grand Canal Museum, making sightseeing incredibly convenient. The hotel's overall style is modern and minimalist, with a quiet and elegant ambiance that's perfect for relaxation. The rooms are spacious, with new and complete facilities, comfortable bedding, and good quality toiletries. The staff are professional and attentive, ensuring a smooth experience from check-in to check-out – truly excellent service. The breakfast is rich and fresh, with a wide variety of choices, perfect for starting your day with energy. Parking is convenient, and the surrounding amenities are also very well-developed. It's suitable for family trips, friends traveling together, or even solo travelers, offering great value for money. Definitely worth returning to!

The hotel's location in the city is very convenient for getting around, being close to Slender West Lake and Dongguan Street. The breakfast offers a rich and varied selection, and dining on the 26th floor provides a great view of the entire city. It was a nice alternative to sightseeing, especially since the scenic spots were closed. Just a small suggestion: it would be great if the staff could try to avoid making too much noise when clearing plates.

The hotel's location is superb, making it easy to get around. All the ladies at the front desk were incredibly warm and attentive, and both check-in and check-out were very quick. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable allowing for a great night's sleep, and it had excellent natural light and ventilation. All facilities were complete and in good working order. The breakfast offered a rich variety and tasted delicious. It's fantastic value for money, and I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit!

The room's cleanliness exceeded expectations; there wasn't a single dirty spot. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, and they even provided both soft and firm pillows, ensuring a great night's sleep. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the water pressure was stable with a full set of toiletries. The TV supported screen mirroring, and the charging outlets were well-distributed. There was also a small sofa by the window, perfect for relaxing and watching the street view at night. The soundproofing was excellent; even though it faced the street, I couldn't hear any noise. Overall, it was simple, clean, and incredibly relaxing and comfortable to stay in.

Let's start with the downsides: Since the family room can accommodate three adults, there should be three sets of towels, bath towels, tooth mugs, drinking glasses, and coffee cups, not just two. Even children or teenagers need their own bath towel and tooth mug. Also, the curtain button was sometimes a bit unresponsive. Now for the positives: 1. The location is excellent, making it convenient to get anywhere. You can walk to the South Gate of Slender West Lake, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. 2. The breakfast was good; while not exceptionally lavish, it had everything you'd expect. The coffee came from a machine and tasted great. 3. The terraces on four of the floors are a major highlight! Breakfast is on the 11th floor (top floor), and on a nice day, you can dine on the terrace, enjoying the lush forest view and a distant glimpse of the Qiling Pagoda while being shielded from the sun – a fantastic experience. You can also enjoy the night view in the evening. 4. The hairdryer is a Dyson, and in the lobby downstairs, there's a coffee machine, tea, hot water, and bottled water available.

The hotel upgraded for free, the room is big and clean! Both the front desk switchboard and the room service are super meticulous and patient! Super cost-effective! It is a 6-minute drive to Yangzhou Station, very convenient! During the two-day tour of Yangzhou, all the people in the service industry I came into contact with are the business cards of Yangzhou tourism, and their service awareness is really super strong! Give Yangzhou a big thumbs up~

I chose this place during the off-season in Yangzhou. The courtyard has a lovely vibe, and I managed to snap some photos when the cars had moved. Even though it's in the old town, the decor is quite new and it's very clean. The transportation is super convenient; if you're good on your feet, you can pretty much walk to most attractions. Just head north from the hotel, stroll along the Xiao Qin淮 River, take some pictures, and you'll reach Caiyi Street and other spots. Public transport is excellent, connecting you to the train station, various shopping streets, Slender West Lake, and more. There are also plenty of shared e-bikes, and taxis are cheap in this small city. Within 100 meters, there are great restaurants (you'll have to queue if you go late) and dim sum places. Honestly, it's really good.
