This time I chose a B&B by chance. I heard that the B&B was very cozy and I could see that the proprietress was very considerate and tasteful. The decoration and furnishings were very particular. I liked it very much. We haven't arrived yet, but the landlady carefully asked the clerk to turn on the heating in advance. The room also has air conditioning. Although it is very cold, we feel warm in our hearts. If we have the opportunity to come back in the future, we will also introduce friends to the Hengjian B&B. Service so good it might shock you at first. My fiancé and I stayed here for almost a week, and every staff member we interacted with went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and our needs were met. (For e.g., when my fiancé was ill, they offered to pack up some of the breakfast and send it to our room, and the staff practically insisted that they help us with our laundry and delivered our laundered clothes neatly folded to our room.) I speak a little Mandarin which I admit was helpful, but I’m a few of the staff do speak English (and most of the signage is also available in English).

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Yangzhou! It truly feels like a hidden gem. From the moment I got off the bus, I felt the essence of service. They thoughtfully opened the car door, helped with my luggage, and patiently guided me up the elevator to the fifth floor. As soon as the elevator door opened, I was greeted by hotel staff who meticulously asked about my check-in details. After super-fast check-in, they took me to my room and told me that the water and Coke and Sprite in the mini-fridge were free. If I ran out of water, I could call the front desk and they would bring more. They patiently explained the hotel's amenities (the laundry room, the gym, the outdoor balcony), and I could just order laundry service by bagging it. It was absolutely amazing! My room didn't include breakfast, but two breakfasts were added upon check-in. The selection wasn't particularly extensive, but it was excellent, and the freshly cooked food was thoughtfully served to my seat. On the last day, I was debating whether to do laundry. I went to the dryer just in time and found that the cleaning lady had already put my clothes away (some of them were thicker, like jeans). Since I was in a hurry to go to the Grand Canal Museum, the cleaning lady told me that if I was in a hurry, I could take them out in advance so that it would be easier to pack my suitcase. Value for money: Throughout the whole process, the service was really good... I will choose Huazhu Club again next time! It's really good... I highly recommend it!

We visited Yangzhou for the weekend with our children. This hotel came highly recommended by a friend, and it truly surpassed her expectations – what a fantastic stay! Its location is incredibly convenient; Pi Shi Street is within walking distance, and Slender West Lake is just a 10-15 minute taxi ride away. The room amenities are very thoughtful, including a mini-fridge and a disinfection cabinet, plus they provided two key cards. Breakfast was also plentiful. The lobby offers complimentary coffee and snacks, creating a warm and relaxing ambiance. Many thanks to the staff for their enthusiastic welcome. We look forward to staying here again!

The location is absolutely superb. Geyuan Garden is right next door, and Dongguan Street is just a hundred meters away, making it incredibly convenient to reach all major attractions. This charming courtyard guesthouse exudes an antique aesthetic, boasts excellent feng shui, and offers a quiet, safe environment. The owner is incredibly warm and enthusiastic, diligently helping every guest plan their itineraries and discover authentic local cuisine and experiences. It offers exceptional value for money. Many guests even extend their stays, and I'm certain they'll return. I wholeheartedly recommend it to friends from all walks of life. Just as Li Bai's famous line, 'In the misty, flowery March, I descend to Yangzhou,' inspires people from across the nation to visit Yangzhou, a stay at Xu's Courtyard Guesthouse will undoubtedly make your trip incredibly rewarding, smooth, and truly beyond expectations.

Unexpected beauty! I thought I was staying in a cookie-cutter inn, but who would have thought it was a group of cultural relics buildings, which were rebuilt from the former residence of General Li Changle, Huashi Garden, Jienan Book House Yipu and other houses. In addition to tourists who buy tickets to visit, the inn also uses cards to enter the park, so there are not many people, it is very quiet and safe. There is a scene in the garden, so beautiful that people can't walk out, as if they have traveled through time and space. There is a garden opposite, which is very close. Here is a warm reminder for everyone to check in at Jienan Book House, don't go straight to the big archway of Changle Inn. Speaking of eating, there is a buffet in the Western restaurant of the inn for breakfast, and there is also a hall by the pond where you can drink morning tea, or you can choose to go out and eat while walking. For dinner, we walked out of Dongguan Street, crossed Caiyi Street, and came to the old Yiyuan in Siwangting under the recommendation of the lobby manager. The taste is great, but there are really too many people. Friends who don’t want to miss it are better to arrive at 5 o'clock, otherwise you will have to wait for almost an hour before 6 o'clock in the off-season.

I came to Yangzhou for this B&B, and I just want to say it's really worth it. The housekeeper will inform the address of the B&B in advance, and will help turn on the air conditioner in advance after communicating the arrival time. The Chinese-style furnishings in the lobby are so good to take pictures, and they look good in any photos. The B&B also provides free Hanfu experience, so you don't have to worry about not bringing enough clothes to take pictures. The room has its own small courtyard with strong privacy, which is very suitable for traveling with babies. The B&B will provide bath bags + bath salts. It's so comfortable to take a bath in the B&B at night after a day of shopping. The breakfast of the B&B is also amazing. The picky child ate a whole bowl of noodles. It was a pleasant experience. I will continue to stay with my friends next time.

A very good value hotel. The waiter was very enthusiastic and upgraded the room for free. The room was large, the bedding was appropriate, especially the memory pillow, which relieved the fatigue of a day's journey. MiniBar also provided a capsule coffee machine, replenished canned drinks and snacks every day, and the small details were very well done. The hair dryer was also Dyson, and the price was more than 300 for a five-star experience. When checking out, I asked for a bag of Yangzhou specialty ox-skin candy as a gift. The only drawback is that the hotel is a bit remote, and it takes a long time to walk to Dongguan Street.

The location of the hotel is easy to find. It is very convenient to take a taxi or ride an electric bike around. The decoration is simple and elegant. The room is clean and hygienic without any odor, and there is plenty of hot water. The pillows of the hotel are unexpectedly good to sleep. In the past, I always felt sore in my back and waist after waking up from a sleep in a hotel, but this hotel is not like that. I slept very comfortably! The service is very attentive. The lady at the front desk is kind and enthusiastic. Thank you very much for the refrigerator magnet given by the lady when I left the hotel! The only thing that is not perfect is that I can hear a sound like rain outside when I sleep at night. I am not sure whether it is the sound of water in the pipe or the sound of the air conditioner. Friends who are sensitive to sound may find it difficult to fall asleep.

Excellent hotel service wise. The staff is super friendly and courteous. Best staff I have encountered so far in china, right from cleaning staff to front desk, very cheerful and helpful. During check-in was immediately served water and while checking out even received a small gift. The staff personally sees off the guest to the taxi. 👍👍👍 The rooms are well equipped and comfortable for an overnight trip. Breakfast spread was standard and the food was very fresh and served hot. The roof top restaurant has a great view.
