Authentic Onsen Experience at Biyunoyado Our family had a wonderful stay at Biyunoyado, a great choice for experiencing an authentic Japanese onsen. The service was excellent, and the hotel even offers a shuttle bus to the Snow Monkey Park and station (though we didn’t use it since we drove). The staff were very friendly and spoke both Chinese and English, making communication easy. The onsen was a highlight, providing a relaxing and traditional experience. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast. The only downside was that the room was a bit small, with limited space for luggage. Overall, Biyunoyado is a fantastic place for those looking to experience Japanese hospitality, great service, and a soothing onsen.

The onsen was comfortable, especially the outdoor onsen, which was magical during the snow. The tatami bed was also very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. Additionally, the shuttle bus service to the train station was helpful, particularly on snowy days. Overall, it was a delightful stay!

Our family made a special trip from Tokyo to Nagano, and besides exploring the surrounding attractions, watching the snow monkeys soaking in the hot springs of Nozawa, and visiting the Togakushi Shrine, the highlight of this trip was staying at Issa no Komichi Biyu no Yado. Initially, we had modest expectations, thinking of it as just another experience. However, upon arriving in the snowy Yudanaka Shibu Onsen, we were immediately impressed by the warm and professional hospitality. From the thoughtful reception to the exquisite dinner and the unique public onsen, every aspect exceeded our expectations and left us pleasantly surprised. This wasn’t just a hotel stay—it was an unforgettable journey into the heart of Japanese onsen culture. If you’re planning a trip to Nagano, this is definitely a place worth visiting to experience the perfect blend of hot springs and nature!

The hotel environment is very good, and the facilities and services are also in place. In addition to the public bath, I also tried the private bath on the top floor of the hotel. It costs 2,000 yen for 40 minutes and is worth a try₍ᐢ•ﻌ•ᐢ₎*･ﾟ｡

It is a very small town, very quiet. There are Chinese staff, very enthusiastic, you can ask them for help if you need any help. There is a wild monkey park nearby, you can go to see the little monkeys taking a hot spring bath. The hotel provides pick-up and drop-off, and there is a shuttle bus schedule.

Very Old and Smelly Hotel. The building is very old. A pleasant smell only at the Reception. Upon going up to your floor, the smell is just terrible, old stuff. The room is huge, but not comfortable. The toilet is old, the bathroom with a shower is a nightmare. The furniture by the window is so old that you can find better on a garbage heap. We opened the closet, it stinks so much that you wanted to run from this place without looking back and for this the price starts from 200 US dollars and goes on forever. Are you seriously offering this to people? We wanted to book breakfast in the evening, they refused, saying that there were no places. We came in the morning, two people were sitting having breakfast, there was no place for the two of us. What a joke. + they took us to the monkey park and then to the station - Thank you. Conclusion: Even if you are under general anesthesia, you should not stay here. Demolish the building to its foundations and build a new one!

The bath was amazing. The food was tasty and filling, and satisfying. It's about a 7-minute walk from the station, so it's well within walking distance. I'd like to stay here again.

The hotel provides shuttle service from the JR station to the hotel and to the snow monkey park three times a day. It is very convenient and solves the transportation problem in the ice and snow. It is very considerate.

A hotel that cheats foreigners The accommodation is OK But How can the food be so bad
