This was the last stop on our Northwest trip, and we booked a family room. When checking in, I asked if we could get an upgrade, but the front desk staff said no. Since we were staying two nights, I then asked if breakfast could be included, but the front desk again flatly refused. Honestly, it's not a big deal if breakfast isn't included; I can afford a breakfast that costs a few dozen yuan. But that cold, formulaic service attitude was really off-putting. Well, after apparently offending the front desk, I was assigned a 'great' room where the shower drain was blocked, causing water to pool up to my ankles (I have pictures to prove it). It was already past 10 PM, and I didn't want to bother the staff, so I just figured I'd ask them to send someone to fix it tomorrow. But then, after my shower, the air conditioner stopped cooling, and it was very late by the time it started working again. What was even more frustrating happened the next morning: around 8 AM, the cleaning lady knocked on our door, asking us to put out our trash for her to take. Seriously? This was the only day of our entire trip we could sleep in, and it was completely ruined. I was so frustrated. To be fair, besides that one front desk staff member, the other service staff were quite nice, and they even gave my child a souvenir when we checked out. But overall, this stay was absolutely terrible.

Stayed here for a business trip, and overall it was a great experience. The location is convenient (close to the [station]), and while the room isn't huge, it's well-laid out. The desk and lighting were very comfortable for working, and the internet was fast and stable. The bedding was clean, the pillows offered good support, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a good night's sleep. I'll definitely choose this place again for my next business trip.

Facilities: Not great, especially the water situation. The sink faucet splattered everywhere, and the drain cover was loose. It was hard to adjust the water temperature in the shower, and the bathtub couldn't hold water. The hairdryer only blew cold air. Hygiene: Okay, but they didn't refill the shampoo, and the replacement towels weren't put on the rack, so I couldn't find them. Service: The service attitude was good; they brought yogurt every day and were very welcoming. Environment: The location is good, and it's quiet for sleeping.

This stay exceeded my expectations. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was soft and comfortable – I slept like a log! The front desk service was warm and attentive; check-in, check-out, and getting an invoice were all quick and efficient. The location is super convenient, with the Daxinjie Night Market and Xiaguanguan Street nearby, offering plenty of delicious local food. There's also a fantastic hand-grabbed lamb restaurant not far from the hotel, which the front desk recommended, and it was really good. It was cloudy during my stay, but thankfully the room had air conditioning. This is one of the few hotels in Xining with independent AC. Overall, it offers great value for money, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next loop trip.

After cycling around Qinghai Lake, I returned to the Hilton Garden Inn Xining Railway Station. The staff, especially 'Shuda Chuandian' (which seems to be a staff member's name or a typo for 'comfortable mattress' but I'll assume it's a name given the context), was incredibly helpful. They replied to my message instantly and arranged pick-up service for the next day. Since I had my bike with me, they thoughtfully packed it into the car in advance. Their entire arrangement was truly meticulous. I'd definitely recommend staying here again!

The location is near the train station. If you drive a car, you can park it downstairs, but it’s really hard to find the parking entrance. We did not manage to find it. The hotel service was nice, and they took us to the parking lot later to show us where it is. Otherwise, it’s easy to locate the hotel from outside. The room was clean and spacious. The wifi was not working, and the person who could fix it was not there since it was late. Therefore, we connected to the other room’s WiFi but the connection was not good. The bed was a bit short for a tall person.

Easy to find and super convenient location with great transport links! The area has so much character and plenty of food options. The front desk staff, especially the lady who checked me in, was incredibly warm and efficient. She had such a great attitude! The room was clean and hygienic, with a really cozy atmosphere. The bedding was comfortable, and all the toiletries were provided. Excellent value for money! This will definitely be my go-to place for future trips. A good night's rest here truly made my whole trip more enjoyable and happy!
