Excellent hotel! We loved the room. New and modern. We stayed in a room with a king-size bed, which has a wall-to-wall window. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean, well laid out, and featured a Dyson hairdryer. The hotel’s location is perfect. It’s practically next to the Bell Tower, almost right across from a metro station, and just a 5-minute walk from the Muslim Quarter and a mall. The breakfast is Chinese-style, but we really liked it. As for the staff, I have nothing but praise. They were extremely attentive, thoughtful, and very helpful — special mention to the staff member Xiao Wang, who was a true example of excellent service and went above and beyond to make us happy.

The value for the price is fantastic! The rooms are on the smaller side, but the location is very convenient, the bed is very comfortable and the toilet is super clean. It’s perfect size for one person or for couples if you don’t bring too much luggage. The only downside is that I could occasionally hear bathroom water flowing through the pipes from the bathroom above my room I guess, and the hallway in front of my room had an unpleasant small of cigarettes and/or fish sometimes (quite strange). I’d still recommend staying here, especially if you’re traveling on a budget, but still prioritize cleanliness! *I stayed on the first floor, in the room at the end of the hallway.

There is a free flow of hot drinks at the lobby. Near the lobby there is an ironing section, laundry section and gym room. But only two washing machines are provided for hundreds of rooms. But Wang Aunty is good enough to help guests take out the washed clothing out from the washing machines and put them in the dryer. Cao Supervisor helped us to iron out clothes as the old iron was not in function. Our rooms are far away from the lifts but the rooms are in a quiet place. Beds and pillows are good to sleep in. We stayed 3 nights in this hotel and the breakfast was provided almost the same everyday but they changed it a little bit. The cleaner aunty in the restaurant is polite. The location is good not really far from the Muslim Quarter. The bus stop is just in front of this hotel. We took didi easily. AI XiaoLe in the room was not helpful. Overall, I still suggest that this hotel is more friendly to guests and we felt warm like at home.
