Ibis Hotels in Xi'an

Loved this hotel! The service is excellent, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. **Best part?** It’s just steps away from **Drum Tower and Bell Tower**—super convenient for exploring the city.

Amazingly good and clean hotel near places of interest but a bit of noise coming from the school next building early in the morning.Staff are good except that the AC was not working properly even though it in the winter but the room was too warm and unable to adjust to cooler temperatures.Due to communication difficulties was told to switch off the AC instead of solving the problem but managed to open the window for cool air.Breakfasts was average the first day there were no coffee serve or plain water which I found it strange but the next day there’s coffee machine so it a matter of suggestion.Free usage of washing machine and luggage storage.On the right of the hotel there’s a convenient shop and 7-11. Near to Muslim's quarters and Bell tower. Walking distance from the railway station, not too far if take short cut. I took a train from Malaysia to Europe. Xian was a transit city in my itinerary. The laundry machine not working well.

The facilities were good, staff were generally helpful and nice. Very clean environment; generally has what you need. Very conveniently located. Some of the staff at the front desk are a bit too immature and could act a bit more professional. Apparently, they find it funny for you ask them for water; ask them a few more times and they would giggle and laugh behind your back and make fun of you; they might even horse around with you if Mandarin is not your first language and you don't speak as natively as they do. I made an add on booking for an extra night. If you need them to do anything towards the end of your stay, they might withhold service at the front desk until you give them a perfect rating; they wouldn't check me back in the hotel until I left a good rating/comment for my first booking. They forgot I that I could also rate / comment for my second booking. Basically a bunch of kids. Otherwise, hotel management seems fine. Pretty clean, the staff were generally polite.

It was my first time staying at Ibis. I didn't expect that a room that costs less than 200 yuan per night would have such a good window view. The street outside the window is full of tall sycamore trees. Sitting by the window and watching the sunset, the Maillard color is very beautiful (see the picture, taken by the window of the room)... There is no small refrigerator in the room. I gave the bagged Chinese medicine I brought to the front desk girl to put it in the refrigerator at the front desk. The front desk service attitude is super good. I was worried that the room would be noisy because it faces the street, but I didn't expect it to be so quiet. My baby and I went to bed before 10:30 and slept well all night. I immediately signed up for Huazhu Club and plan to stay at Ibis again next time I travel.

I only stayed in the hotel for a night and I am impressed by the cleanliness of the room and the facilities. However, they should have a system when it comes to serving their buffet breakfast. There should be someone assisting the guests when it comes to food or other concerns. But overall, it was a great stay!

Good price, good location and good room. A noticeable negative is that the bathroom door and shower door are semi transparent. Not much privacy for the person in the washroom/shower.

It is very warm when entering the hotel lobby, the business area is huge, there is a free laundry room, the front desk service is very good, and the security guard is also very good. He took the initiative to ask for help with my luggage and direct parking. The room facilities are very new, the overall feeling is very good, and I will choose it in the future.

The journey this time was very long and I stayed in 3 Ibis hotels, Wuhan, Kaifeng and Xi'an. I am most satisfied with the hotel in Kaifeng. The price is reasonable, the room is large, the decoration is new, clean, the staff is friendly, and it is easy to find on the roadside near the bus station I give full marks, the other two hotels are average, no surprises, the rooms are relatively small but I have no complaints 😊 But all the staff are very good and efficient. Overall, I am satisfied.
