Days Inn Hotels in Xi'an

We received warm welcome by the front desk staff called xiao lu. We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The breakfast consists of both chinese and western options and is one of the better breakfast we had in similar grade hotel. We will come back again.

The room is not sound proof at all. I could hear clearly what other people were doing outside, even with the door closed. Moreover, even with the window close, I can heard the traffic sound from the road right beside the hotel. Also, the hotel was renovated from aresident place. If Im not wrong, only B1 to LV11 belongs to the hotel, above are the local residence. The toilet was also quite dirty. Furthermore, although Trip states that some rooms are non-smoking room. When I arrive at the hotel, the front desk said the hotel has no non-smoking rooms. When on the way to my room, I can smell the strong cigarette smell, fulfilling the whole corridor. Even with the door closed, the smell still sink into my room. I have no choice other than open the window as they do not provide air purifier. Also, to wash clothes, we will need to proceed to B1. There is only 2 lifts available for use and only 1 of it canbring us to B1. We often waited for 10 mins for that one particular lift to come up as many ppl are using the lifts at the same time. However, the cleaner aunties here are every nice and helpful. They do provide enough one-time disposable item as per their star rating.

The newly opened hotel, the facilities and equipment are very good, and the price is high. The environment is good, but the professional ability of the staff in all departments of the hotel needs to be improved. You need to wait for check-in. You have already communicated what you need by phone. The room attendant still comes empty-handed and then confirms what you need with you, and then waits for her to get it. I was taking a shower and found that the shower gel bottle was empty. The phone asked the waiter to come and confirm it again. Then wait for her to take a new one and then give the empty bottle to her. The simple things are complicated. The waiting time is longer, the breakfast is simple, and the washing machine in the laundry room should be dusted.
