I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is excellent—just right outside Zhonglou Metro Station, making it super convenient to get around Xi’an. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, providing plenty of room to relax. The service was great, with friendly and attentive staff. They also offer a complimentary breakfast, which was a nice bonus. One of the highlights is the view of the Bell Tower, which you can see immediately after stepping out of the hotel. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel if you’re visiting Xi’an!

The location is excellent: within walking distance of the metro station and the ancient wall, the Bell Tower can be reached on foot too if you don’t mind a little stretch. The owner is super responsive via text. Price is honestly too cheap for this location. Room is clean, spacious and comfy. Multiple convenience stores just off the elevator on ground level.
The only downside is that the apartment is a little hard to find. We called the owner and he came down to take us to the room. I would recommend arriving during daytime hours for this reason. Owner is super helpful. Will definitely stay again next time I visit Xi’an.

Must give this place a huge thumbs-up! The hotel's location is absolutely superb. It's just a few minutes' walk from Dachaishi Subway Station Exit C, and you can easily stroll to the foot of the city wall, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The Xi'an Incident Memorial Hall is also only a short walk away.
Even though the hotel is tucked away in an alley, there are tons of local snack options right nearby, and they're all very affordable. The lobby provides helpful travel recommendation cards with detailed route guides. The rooms are spotless and well-maintained. The front desk staff, especially the young lady, are wonderful and provide incredibly attentive service. Even the housekeeping aunties greet you with a friendly smile.
There were quite a few international guests staying here – lots of attractive people, it almost felt like a hub for foreigners in Xi'an, haha! Definitely a nice sight.
Luggage storage is available at the front desk after check-out, which is super convenient. They offer complimentary bottled water in the lobby, and even gave us some small snacks when we checked out! This was genuinely the best hotel experience; the atmosphere is fantastic and really makes you feel comfortable.
Seriously, I can't recommend this hotel enough! Trust me on this one! 🔥🔥🔥

GGuest UserThe service at this hotel was truly exceptional. My young nephew even remarked that he hasn't experienced this level of service even at five-star hotels. Our family particularly loved the Roujiamo (Chinese hamburger) for breakfast; we honestly thought they tasted better than many 'authentic' ones you find outside. We also enjoyed the drinks in the lobby and made it a point to grab one every time before heading out. We tried the late-night snacks once, and they were quite good. The airport pick-up service was fantastic too; the driver was very proactive and helped us with our luggage right away.

GGuest UserI stayed in a room similar to a suite and it was pretty good. The room was decorated very well. Free mineral water was provided on each floor. The service was very enthusiastic. The room also prepared fruit for me. The hotel also provided free supper, tomato and egg noodles or noodles with soybean sauce, which tasted very good. The afternoon tea on the first floor was also quite rich, with tea. There were also desserts and fruits. The WiFi in the room was also very good. The front desk staff was also very enthusiastic when checking in. The location of the hotel was also very easy to find. It was convenient to travel as it was right outside the subway station. Free parking was available at the door. The customer service girl provided very good service. After checking out, they also had staff call back to ask if they were satisfied with the room. The service was really good and it was done from beginning to end. The price-performance ratio was also relatively high.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at the Sofitel People’s Legend in Xi’an. Our room was spacious, elegant, and incredibly comfortable – the perfect place to relax after exploring the city’s rich history. Dining at Dolce Vita was a delight, with exquisite cuisine and a warm atmosphere.
What truly made our stay unforgettable, however, was the exceptional service we received. A heartfelt thank you to Ruizi, Themis, Fancy, and Tommy, who went above and beyond to make our Mother’s Day celebration so special. Their warmth, attention to detail, and genuine care made us feel truly cherished.
If we could give more than five stars, this would be a solid 10. We will most certainly return!

MM52806****The hotel service was excellent. They offered complimentary desserts every evening, and any issues we had were promptly addressed. The price was also very reasonable, offering great value for money. We originally booked a family room, but upon check-in, we were upgraded to a room with two king-size beds, which allowed us to sleep very comfortably. Most importantly, they provided a drying rack, which was incredibly convenient for doing laundry during our multi-day stay. We didn't book breakfast initially, but when we decided to add it later, they still gave us a discount. Overall, it was a fantastic experience.
The only minor drawback was its distance from the metro station, over 500 meters away, which took almost 10 minutes to walk, especially with young children. We also noticed that booking through Ctrip was slightly more expensive than elsewhere.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel facilities are very new, and the rooms are quite spacious. Its location near Datang Everbright City and Joy City is a definite plus. However, being right at the entrance of a major scenic area and on a one-way street makes getting around a bit inconvenient, especially in the evenings. This is something for other travelers to keep in mind.
Despite the bustling location, the hotel itself was quiet, and I had a good rest. The only real downside was the breakfast, which had a very limited selection.
What's more, for some reason, even the restaurant staff during breakfast were asking us for positive reviews. If this is for staff evaluation, the hotel should really consider guest privacy and approach guests at appropriate times without being intrusive. Plus, the breakfast staff generally don't have direct interactions with guests beyond serving food, so it felt quite abrupt and out of place.
On a positive note, both the front desk and housekeeping services were excellent.

GGuest UserThe location is incredibly convenient! Right outside Exit B of Longshouyuan Station on Metro Line 2, you'll find the hotel. This was a lifesaver for someone like me who easily gets lost! It's quick and easy to get to the Bell Tower, Muslim Quarter, and the high-speed train station.
The hotel definitely has a classic, 'old-money' charm. Initially, I thought the facilities might be a bit dated, but they are actually very well-maintained. Overall, the service was truly commendable. As soon as you approach the hotel, staff are there to help with your luggage, and the front desk handled things very smoothly. What truly impressed me was the exceptional daily housekeeping. Whether we were in the room or not, they would consistently come to replace disposable amenities and towels, and tidy up.
Another highlight for me was the heated swimming pool. We brought our child on this trip, and they went there every single day! Even though it was a bit chilly these past few days, the heated pool meant it didn't affect our enjoyment at all.
Overall, it's definitely worth recommending. It might not be the best fit for young people seeking the latest tech gadgets or a super modern feel, but it's very suitable for family trips or business travel.

MMissBee2023Really great hotel, excellent location right next to the Bell Tower. Amazing service: staff were extremely helpful, and used translation apps when their English failed them, so language wasn’t an issue. We got waters, a fruit plate and bookmarks on check out, and the staff were helpful in our other enquiries. We were able to check in early, and they offered help with the Terra-cotta warriors also.
It didn’t show up on Apple Maps for us - however we entered the address from Trip and that led us and the taxi there! There is another “Grand Mercure” about a 30minute walk away, so worth noting that when you type Mercure into maps it goes to that. But the location is amazing- close to the main central junction with the Bell Tower, 5 minutes from the Muslim Quarter, and various takeaways/bakeries/convenience stores right underneath the hotel.

SSimeon Sing WanThe facilities were good, staff were generally helpful and nice. Very clean environment; generally has what you need. Very conveniently located. Some of the staff at the front desk are a bit too immature and could act a bit more professional. Apparently, they find it funny for you ask them for water; ask them a few more times and they would giggle and laugh behind your back and make fun of you; they might even horse around with you if Mandarin is not your first language and you don't speak as natively as they do. I made an add on booking for an extra night. If you need them to do anything towards the end of your stay, they might withhold service at the front desk until you give them a perfect rating; they wouldn't check me back in the hotel until I left a good rating/comment for my first booking. They forgot I that I could also rate / comment for my second booking. Basically a bunch of kids. Otherwise, hotel management seems fine. Pretty clean, the staff were generally polite.

GGuest UserFor this business trip, my stay at Jingyu Smart Hotel far exceeded expectations; it was comfortable and pleasant from check-in to check-out. The staff were incredibly warm and enthusiastic, offering flexible and genuinely thoughtful service. As a smart hotel, the intelligent features like AC and curtains were very convenient. The room featured comfortable bedding, a bathroom with separate wet and dry areas, a purified water dispenser, and a mini-fridge. There's also a self-service laundry room and free parking, which met all my travel needs. The room corners were dust-free, the bed linen was pristine white and fresh, and there was no water pooling in the bathroom. Housekeeping was meticulous daily, and the breakfast area cutlery was properly sanitized, ensuring a worry-free dining experience. Conveniently located near the high-speed train station and bus stops, the hotel is well-soundproofed and quiet. The price is reasonable, offering significantly better value for money than other hotels in the same price range. Overall, a perfect experience! I'll definitely choose Jingyu again next time I'm in this city and will highly recommend it to my friends!
