We loved our stay at the Zhonlou Yuantuo Hotel! The hotel was very conveniently located to the Bell and Drum towers, as well as the Muslim Quarter. It’s also conveniently placed to the Zhonglou metro station, so you can get around the city with ease. The staff here are all very warm and friendly and made our stay very pleasant. The rooms were clean and modern, with some quirky features. We also had the breakfast included, which had plenty of Eastern and Western options. The location is excellent: within walking distance of the metro station and the ancient wall, the Bell Tower can be reached on foot too if you don’t mind a little stretch. The owner is super responsive via text. Price is honestly too cheap for this location. Room is clean, spacious and comfy. Multiple convenience stores just off the elevator on ground level. The only downside is that the apartment is a little hard to find. We called the owner and he came down to take us to the room. I would recommend arriving during daytime hours for this reason. Owner is super helpful. Will definitely stay again next time I visit Xi’an.
