Very jaded and old furnishings. Think they should do some refurbishments to the rooms. Stayed there because of the river view. Frontline receptionist mannerism is akin to a small inn receptionist. Nothing wow about the place apart from the view.

Overall, it was a great experience. We got 3 rooms for our family of 6 w/ 2 kids on the 20th floor. This hotel is next to the river so the view is stunning. Overlooked the great Yangtze River. Night view was mesmerizing. All the skyscrapers lit up in sync around the city along side the river. Jaw dropping. We went in mid June and the river was flooding due to heavy rain. There's a big walk way next to the river where lots of people went to hang out even when it's flooding. Real cool. There's also a famous street similar to Beijing Road in Guangzhou a few blocks down. Forgot the name. There's an upscale modern mall called MixC 15 min taxi DD. We're from California and this mall is comparable to our socal South Coast. During summer flooding season, it may be an issue traveling to the other side of the bridge, so just keep that in mind. I gave it a 4 star for cleaniness because I expected our room to be a bit better. One of the rooms we stayed had this old, a bit smoky smell. I'm assuming someone smoked in it given majority of the population in china seems to be smoking like a chimney. The Pearl gave us great modern comfort to an alienated(to us) city.

A wonderful experience for a weekend getaway with friends.

The location is very nice but our room faced another building which was not the best view possible. Anyway, despite the big amount of visitors, the manager helped us to change room and provided us a better service. The swimming pool was super cold, which clearly was not suitable for me and my kids. Breakfast on the average for this level of hotel. After all I believe the price was too high compared with other hotels in the same area. I want to prize the manager and for his support, but generally I would not recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel with great location. I will be back again

The Position is quite nice. Just a short stroll to Wuhan bund, the River and to Hankou's nightlife area (esp. Lihuangpi lu). It's a bit old, but everything was fine for me so far, so nothing to complain. There is also a restaurant and a club lounge, but I haven't visited them, neither the pool or the gym.

Although it is an old five-star hotel, the room is very comfortable and has constant temperature air conditioning. The lobby smells nice as soon as you enter it. The whole floor-to-ceiling window in the room has a good view of the river. A few steps downstairs is a street for eating, drinking and having fun, and it is also close to the attractions. In addition, the bed, quilt, and sofa are very soft and comfortable, and the service is also very good. Recommended

This is an old five-star hotel, and the facilities are not up to date and a bit old. But the river view room is the best. The morning sun shines into the room, and I watch the sun slowly rise from the rooftop in the distance with my loved one, starting the beautiful first day of 2025. Leave this unforgettable and beautiful memory here. I wish lovers will finally get married and never separate.

Very satisfied, the swimming pool has a river view, the room has a very good view, it is very close to several commercial streets and pedestrian streets, and it is very convenient for eating and shopping. The breakfast is delicious. Very cost-effective.

I can't remember whether it was the fifth or sixth time I stayed here. The location is excellent and the river view is unique in Wuhan. Although the hotel is old, it is clean and tidy, and the environment and services are all online. The only drawback is that the room is a bit too stuffy, but everything else is very good.
