Lovely manager, Pamela, who gave a personal welcome and send off. Accommodated our requests. The decor was tasteful and amenities new. Provided a good range of in room beverages. Loved the skylight above the bath.

Although the location of the hotel is not close to the lake, it is between the town of Windermere and Bowness. It is basically a 10-15 minute walk to the lake to take a boat. The World of Peter Rabbit is the closest. The room is large and clean, and the bathroom is the largest among the hotels booked in the seven cities on this trip to the UK. The room is very warmly decorated, the cabinets are very large, and there are many hangers suitable for storing a lot of clothes. The boss's father is from Hong Kong. He chats with us every morning and recommends our travel routes. He is very enthusiastic. The breakfast is also very rich, and the price is very reasonable during the peak summer season.

The hotel experience is great. First of all, the transportation is convenient. It takes about 10 minutes to walk after getting off the train. It only takes more than 10 minutes to walk to Bowness Town to take a boat. There are also buses available. Secondly, the surrounding environment of the hotel is elegant, the rooms are very clean, the housekeeper is amiable, the handmade refreshments are delicious, and the Western breakfast is made to order and is of high quality. All in all, this is a hotel run with care and worth recommending.

A very cozy family hotel with an excellent location. It is within walking distance to Bowness and the cruise pier. Although I only stayed in Windermere for one night this time, I still thoroughly enjoyed it. Their English breakfast is beyond praise😋
