Big room, bath tub, limitless amenities downstairs, great view on castle, close to the station, not many questions asked in the lobby, can bring guests and ladies, etc. Number 1 in Wakayama. Recommend!

The location is just fine for seeing museums, it’s just for eating options (including supermarkets) that it’s a bit out of the way. Microwave and vending machines on the ground floor. It’s a good value and glad I picked this for my 3 night stay. I didn’t try the breakfast since it looked like it might be fully booked from the sign but I might have been misunderstanding what it was saying.

The smoking room is like hundreds of smokers in this room with you. It's super disappointing that the hotel doesn't take any air cleaning activities in this room and all the facilities are old.

Facilities and service rendered are at reasonable level. The location is just next to the Wakayama Castle. Reception is 24/7, which is appreciated.

The amenities are a bit on the retro side, but the overall service and comfort are beyond expectations. Excellent bedding and linen, nice fragrance in public spaces, vending machines with cup ramen and other food and drinks, free toiletries and tea sachets at the lobby. Asked for a room with the castle view and the hotel kindly met my request. Amazing! Location also Ok. Breakfast quite nice, especially the Japanese dishes. Bus stop and convenience store nearby. Would definitely stay here again.

A bit far from wakayama station but close to wakayama castle I got a room with a night view of the castle : magnificent!

the location of the hotel is nice, Hotel it was clean and good bed.

It is newer then the other smile hotel i have been to. Clraniness was great. But the laundry room was very cold...

Good business hotel in Wakayama in front of the Wakayama castle. Rooms are quite old fashion but spacious, with optional Castle view.

Location is near to Wakayama castle, nice view from the room. Quite far to any convenient store.
