Spa Hotels in Vienna

My husband and I chose this hotel for our one-year anniversary honeymoon. It would have been nice if the room had a garden view. I sent a message saying that we hope the room will be decorated for our honeymoon, but it wasn't. I was a little disappointed. Other things were good, and the breakfast was delicious.

Great stay but I did expect a large double bed instead of two singles pushed together. The staff were friendly and check in and out was quite easy. It’s a bit far from the station if you’re walking with bags but an uber is pretty cheap and quick.

Hotel is good, service is good, location is good, downstairs is an entire commercial street, but their business district closes early and closes at 7pm, and does not open on Sundays. Next to the parking lot, public transportation is also very convenient.

This was our third stay at the Steigenberger Herrenhof.  The hotel is in a perfect location being in walking distance of all the museums, galleries and Christmas markets.  Every member if staff is friendly, helpful and efficient.  The breakfast is very good value for money and the bar area is a great place to relax.  We love this hotel.

The location is not very near to the train station if you carry big luggage to walk around. It’s not inside the city as well but you can get to the city within 20 mins, so it’s acceptable. Room was spacious, bright and clean. The breakfast buffet selection is rather limited. However, they have the ala carte eggs menu free to order which saves the breakfast quality. Next, the negative points. The receptionist guy (in specs & suits) was not helpful (unfortunately, we didn’t get his name because the staff here do not wear name tags). We stayed for 3 nights and we asked the guy to help us book the rooftop bar and he failed to do so for every single night. First night he said it was fully booked and said it would be available the next day. Next day, he said the bar was fully booked again. Third day, he wasn’t around and we asked a friendly female receptionist to help check the availability and she successfully made the booking for us. We went up on our last night and the bar was pretty much empty. It was a disappointing service and experience from the reception guy considering the high level of customer service claimed by Andaz.

Literally just opposite the Vienna hbf, which is very convenient for those travelling in or out by train. Hotel is very clean. Kettle is available. Very satisfied with this hotel.

One of the best hotel stays I’ve had - from the view to the location to the service. The hotel is located away from the hustle and bustle of District1, yet not too far away from the life of the city. Service was top notch as well, everyday house keeping tidies up the room to the utmost standard. If all SO/ hotels are like this, we’ll definitely be looking to book the brand more!

Room was clean but the location is further from the city area nearer to the schonbrunn palace. Took a long time to check in even though it was at night. Some of the amenities were not available, body soap was empty and conditioner was not provided.

Breakfast, for instance, was an experience I won’t forget. Their Eggs Benedict was the best I’ve ever had, but it wasn’t just about the dish. It was the way it was served, with care, with pride, and with the intent to make my morning special. To everyone who works here: thank you. You’re not just doing a job, you’re creating moments that stay with people. You turned my stay into something I’ll look back on with a smile, and that’s not something that happens everywhere. To anyone considering a stay in Vienna, know this: The Ritz-Carlton isn’t just a hotel where you’ll feel pampered, it’s a place where you’ll feel seen, valued, and at home. Experiences may fade, but the way this team made me feel will last forever.

It's not in the city center, but other conditions are good, transportation is quite convenient, there is rail transit next to it, and it leads in all directions
