generally we had a pleasant stay at this hotel! Our flight landed early and the staff let us check in in the morning so we didn’t need to wait outside. Rooms are pretty clean & nicely decorated. Breakfasts are authentic Turkish food and we enjoyed it a lot 🥰

Pros= Free Turkish breakfast was amazing, staff was kind and available 24hrs. Cons= No AC and it was hot as hell in even September, 15min walk to town, no mini fridge, could use an update as everything is 30 years old.

It was nice to experience a cave stay but the place is far from the “city” center and other popular and convenient places for tourists. The good thing is that it’s in a quiet place.

Urgup is more of a local spot and it’s like 10 minutes car ride from Goreme the city center or more touristy spot. We love the hotel for the room is spacious, amenities were great, service was extra-ordinary, the breakfast was superb and eventhough we arrived at the property few hours early, they check us in without any charge. Thank you for that! If you are staying here you will enjoy peace and serenity. Which we love! But if you like city like ambience, Urgup is not the place, stay in Goreme. Which hotel you stay is not important for hot air balloon because most of the hot air balloon package will include hotel transfer to hot air balloon site and back to the hotel. The room is very good, big and clean There are two bathrooms, and the front desk gave me a free room upgrade, which is really great The service is also very good. The lady at the front desk is very enthusiastic and can get water for free.

Fantastic cave hotel, good service, great breakfast Although Urgup, I think the value for money is far better than Goreme (if you rent a transport) I also stayed overnight in Goreme which is a basement in poor condition but more expensive.

・It looks cute because it is a cave hotel. ・This is a cave hotel, so be careful not to touch the walls or put your bag in the closet as it will get dirty with white powder.

The hotel is very good and cost-effective, but the hot air balloon camera is too far away to take pictures with your mobile phone.

산꼭대기에 위치해있어 차가없다면 조금 힘들 수 있지만 그럼에도 멋진 일몰과 일출때의 에어벌룬을 볼 수 있는곳. 와이프가 아파서 하루종일 힘들었는데 모든 직원들이 신경 써주셔서 감사했습니다. 다시 한번 방문해서 제대로 즐기고 싶은 마음입니다.

Otel çok güzel ve temizdi karşılama ekibi ***et güler yüzlü ve sempatik ti kahvaltıya diyecek bir şey bulamıyorum çok güzeldi ayrılmak zor oldu ama bir daha ki sefere kesinlikle tekrar tekrar kalabileceğim bir yer herkes e çok teşekkür ederim 🙏🏻

I had the best experience ever at this hotel. My room was the epitome of luxury ( best bed ever). The shower room was amazing. It is a boutique hotel so service is personal and there are no hordes. The staff were so attentive. The rooms are spotless and the linen super clean. The terraces are lovely. You can see the balloons (maybe the person who couldn't see them did not get up early enough) , sunrise and sunset views are perfect. I sat cuddling a kitten with a glass of wine just drinking in the view most evenings. The food is excellent and generous. It is away from the centre of town so, lovely and quiet. You do have to walk for about 10 minutes to get into town but there is so much to see. Its location is very picturesque and certainly very old. All tours and taxis will pick up from the reception, so life is very easy. I was lucky enough to be there on independence day and the hotel had organised a musical celebration, which was an absolute bonus. My six days there were absolutely glorious.

Amazing hotel, friendly staff, dreamlike atmosphere.Very cozy and stylish place in the restaurant with beautiful details.Delicious food ,tea,Turkish coffee and baklava.I highly recommend it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cozy rooms, super kind and helpful owners. Yummy home-made breakfast, comfortable beds, nice bathroom, wonderful scenery from "upstairs" (the eating/hangout area). And kittens! Lots of friendly kittens! The only downside is that there are narrow and really steep, cobblestoned streets leading up to the hotel from the main roads, so either go with an advanced driver or without a car up there.
